Hotel room, location (view), decor, size was very good. For $325 a night however I would have expected being able to access the beach from our (one of only four apartments on the beach front) room outdoor fenced in patio without having to walk (in bathers) through the hotel outdoor function area to the beach. A gate for access from... More

We stayed in a triple sharing room for 1 day. Not value for money as room is very small and basic. Extra bed is creaky and mattress is not firm and laminated floor looks old. For A$370 with only a free welcome drink, it's costly. However location is still ok, near jetty and Aristos waterfront and within walking distance to... More

We were unlucky with the weather and that didn't help as we had to spend more time in the room. But we found for the price, the room was ordinary. Bed was poor, floor seemed dirty and a bit sticky. Bathroom was fine but nothing special. For the price we paid we would rather be in a proper 5 star... More

I took my son for the Easter holidays and stayed at the Hotel for a few nights. I paid $605 for 2 nights (plus ferry rides and expenses). I would say the hotel is 3 stars. It has a uncomfortable bed (looked double not queen) and it is very small. There was a tv that didn't work very well. I... More

The rooms were fine however a bit basic for what I was expecting given the price paid. But the rooms were clean and tidy. It was a bit disappointing that could hear every sound from adjoining rooms and only we got about 2 hours sleep. The adjoining bar was pretty cool with amazing views and felt very modern compared to... More

Enjoyed our stay in a bayside room for one night in March. Able to check in early, air con on cooling the room nicely. Everything you need in the room including espresso machine and fridge. A complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Bed was comfy and plenty of blankets and pillows. Nice little terrace to watch the world... More

Clean, modern hotel room. Room with beach view is stunning! Peter Morrissey toiletries are a nice touch. Wowed by a free bottle of Sandalford white wine in the fridge. Air conditioned room very welcome. Friendly, accommodating staff. Early check in was appreciated. Thank you Hotel Rottnest we will be back and will tell all our friends!

I can only go on my experience at this hotel as I have not stayed anywhere else on Rottnest. You pay a premium for a bayside room that does have fantastic views. But the room itself is pretty basic and its in need of some maintenance. The kettle supplied was rusted, the ceiling fan squeaks constantly, the remote for the... More

We stayed for one night in March. We took two double rooms, one for ourselves and one for my father. Accommodation options on Rottnest are limited and so there is little competition. This means that prices on the island for serviced hotel accommodation tend to be a bit high compared to equivalent accommodation on the mainland. In shoulder season we... More
