Great staff, awesome food and great service. The food was beautiful and even had a coffee with my dessert! The old pub atmosphere was wonderful and the beer garden was great just to sit and listen to the local chat.

An interesting and fun night at the Gnowangerup pub. The Managers were away, and the staff, Rae and Tricia did a wonderful job given there was a bit of a 'pre-harvest' gathering of the local lads - and a skimpy. Menu was limited on this night as I understand the Manager usually cooks, but the food was tasty, quick and...

Two couples and we stayed in the motel-style rooms at the rear of the hotel. The staff were very friendly. Our rooms were very uninviting; no flyscreens and there were a lot of mosquitos, no heating in the room, the venetian blinds wouldn't close but the curtain did, a very dirty shower curtain, although water pressure was great. The tv...

This is the local watering hole and only place to eat out. It is also the only hotel accommodation. It is stepping back to pre-WW 2 or maybe 1 times. The rooms are small with no running water. But they are clean, the bed comfortable and the shared facilities are satisfactory. The bar is a good vantage spot to get...

HUGE and delicious serves of good country pub food. The redone dinning room is great for a meal. Love the name Merino's. Great looking logo too. If you are in the Gnowangerup Shire or driving through, stop here for dinner or a Sunday lunch. Table service lacking but staff lovely. Odd that they didn't serve tea or coffee with dessert....

Dee and Danny the Managers, run a great welcoming country pub for the locals and visitors alike. Food is great and the beer is cold. atmosphere is great and accommodation very comfortable. If you're passing though stop in for a meal or a place to sleep for the night.

Our room was very basic with no form of heating and the nights get cold in June. Shared bathrooms were also very basic however the water in the shower was nice and hot. Cereal and toast for breakfast in the TV room was a nice touch. Food in the dining room/restaurant was great quality and excellent value.

The night I stayed here the bar was shut, which ment no beers and No food. The rooms where clean but very small (to be expected in a country pub type accommodation) Only 1 blanket was supplied! (Lucky I had another thick blanket in the car). There where kids running around screaming to all hours of the night! (I guess...

What a fantastic country pub, if only this pub was in Perth. I have been to this pub once before about two years ago and what a turn around, What a credit to jack and zac. Alice was very helpful and cheerful and my wife was also well looked after as she has fussy requests with her meals and cam...
