Two nights in winter at the historic Ford House was memorable. Visited Bridgetown with friends on a weekend. Very cool inland in winter, but on request, wood fire was lit early in evening to warm the very spacious ballroom ensuite with graceful heavy curtains over the bay window. Views to the gardens, roses , rolling lawns are lovely. The Blackwood... More

We travelled down to Bridgetown for our anniversary. The Cook's Retreat was beautiful and just one of a variety of rooms on offer. All in one room the bathroom, bedroom and living room blended together beautifully. The spa offered a lovely option as did the self contained facilities. A private entrance added to the magical surroundings. The geese and gardens... More

Hubby and I wanted to escape the rat race for a few days and found the perfect spot. We slept in - no cars, dogs, neighbours. We walked around the property - so much to see. We walked around the town - very enjoyable. We walked along the riverbank - so peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff and breakfast was... More

This B&B has so much more to offer than the Bed and Breakfast. The Gif Shops inside and outside are amazing and can't be described in words that do it justice. You must visit just to see the gift shops!! The accommodation was perfect and extremely comfortable and the breakfast was a whole other experience in itself again!! We will... More

Stayed here overnight and was fortunate to be in an en suite room with 4 poster bed. The room was delightfully furnished with club chairs, beautiful bed and gorgeous drapes. Having an en suite was a bonus. There was a shared lounge and kitchen and this was where we went to grab cups of tea and store nibbles and wine.... More

We had 2 nights staying in the Honeymoon Suite. As the only guests, we had the entire house to ourselves. The weather was foul - very windy, wet and freezing but the wonderful staff made sure the heater was stacked with lots of wood and our living area was so cosy. Beds extra comfy and the entire experience fantastic.

I had stayed at wonderful Ford House once before and knew when I came back to WA that my trip would not be complete without staying again. I stayed for 2 beautiful days and was warmly welcomed and very well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in Aislinn House this time and it did not... More

We stayed for only one night (unfortunately). From the minute we got out of our car we were smiling. People are fabulous, room was fabulous and breakfast was amazing, felt like we were in a fairytale. Highly Recommend Ford House, if you are going to Bridgetown make sure you visit Ford House!!! :-)

What a treasure of the south west. Lovely weekend in the most divine setting. Home style cooking and hilarious conversation with the most witty and intriguing host in the beautifully decorated barn. I spent my time hunting through the stunning and very extensive shop, bringing home some gorgeous gifts for the kids. Will be back for a winter getaway.

We had two couples staying here last weekend. We had different rooms. All the rooms are themed and decorated with collectors items. Tea, coffee facilities in room with a little fridge. Our theme room was Cooks Retreat so the were cookbooks and all sorts of things in the room. There are spas in all the rooms but ours was not... More
