Stayed here a couple of nights during a rainstorm, loads of ants in the unit, told management about it. The units are a bit old and could do with a revamp, but the view of the river is great. Comfortable but nothing special, altho' we were asked if we wanted our linen changed after just one night. Have stayed before,... More

Went here with a few friends. Meals are ok. Chicken parmi was dry, burgers were not that great, steak was ok. But my main pick was that I had a glass of wine and it was warm. Our friends said the same and that the beer was warm. Had to get ice. Service was good, but you can see that... More

Lovely clean rooms. Central in town. Just your basic hotel/motel accommodations . Suited our overnight stop visiting the stunning southwest. Plenty of parking. The hotel meals are beautiful and the views gorgeous. The staff moods were a little hit and miss, some very enthusiastic and others looked like they would prefer to be elsewhere. Loved the charm of the building.

I have visited Augusta, at every opportunity I am able to, over many years and always choose to stay at the Augusta Hotel Motel. This young male front bar staff are completely disinterested in being there, but, the female staff, especially one, were amazing, in contrast, one female staff member of some obvious authority in the lounge bar, possibly related... I stayed here overnight a few days ago with a small tour group. We stayed in Leeuwin House which is across the road from the motel. The bunks were very comfortable but overall the place needed a good touch up. The toilets and showers are at the back of the house which is a bit annoying. I'd recommend only staying... More

Dear Mandy, Thank you for taking the time to post your review. The Augusta Hotel is an historic venue and we strive to present clean and comfortable amenities to our customers. Leeuwin House, intended for small groups, offers basic accommodation. Our actual Hotel, in comparison, offers different accommodation and we are sure you probably would have been more satisfied with... More

This review is on the restaurant rather than on the hotel. For our dinner on this one night in Augusta, we chose the restaurant in the Augusta Hotel, even though we were not staying at this property. We had their fish special: Grilled snapper with fries and salad, best fish thus far, no batter, just grilled to perfection. We also... More

Basic, old hotel, but rooms very clean. The pillow and bed were comfortable. Small bathroom but separate shower which is great if you dislike showers over baths. Lovely view over the river and right in town. Didn't go into hotel so unable to comment

Awesome beautiful old property with stunning views and great restaurant. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy. Great open areas for kids to run about. Right in the middle of town and easy to walk to supermarket

Our Hotel certainly is unique with it's heritage, spectacular views of the Blackwood River and Ocean and very large grassed areas. But hey, we are also a slight bit biased afterall! Remember you are staying in an old Aussie pub not 5 star accommodation. We had a wonderful view over the river. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Nice hot shower. TV, bar fridge, kettle and toaster in our room. IGA across the road to get bread and other essentials. We did have meals at the pub and yes... More
