The hosts (Janet & Ross) as well as the staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The accommodation was of the highest standard in the recently renovated room, well appointed and very tastefully decorated. The room was very comfortable with queen sized bed and two tub chairs (ideal for relaxing and watching TV. All of the appliances worked perfectly and satisfied all our needs for an extended stay with a well stocked fridge and plenty of tea, coffee & biscuits provided for morning and afternoon teas. The room and ensuite were absolutely spotless with a generous supply of linen and towels. Being located close to the centre of the town, it was a easy walk to the shops and a number of excellent places dine. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back in the future. Bob&June

This motel has been extensively and tastefully renovated, but still has a bit more to go. My husband's Holden Car Club had an group booking of an overnight stay for a weekend car run and everyone was blown away on how gorgeous the rooms were decorated, very warm heating and awesome comfortable beds and linen. The rooms are large in size along with the modern renovated bathrooms. Everything about this stay was perfect from start to finish. The owner/managers were so accommodating and could not assist us enough - nothing was too much trouble. They have been in the business for many years and I have to say that they a perfect at what they do and know what the guest wants and needs. Location is only a 5 min walk to town and the wonderful Highlands Club for dinner. Breakfast was recommended at the café at the train station and it had a big roaring open fire. Both places to dine was suggested by owners and was spot on. Cannot recommend this accommodation enough. A+++++

From the first moment you arrive you feel like you are at home. Janet and Ross are so friendly and welcoming. We arrived around lunchtime and checked to see if the room was ready which it was. Janet explaining that the girls have been working so hard getting rooms ready due to being so busy and was full of praise towards them. This was so great to hear. The room was very clean and appeared to be newly renovated. It was exactly what the pictures showed. Spacious room with 2 arm chairs rather than table and chairs. Makes relaxing at night so much easier. Nice touches: fresh milk in small glass bottle, lollies in a bowl, coffee machine and a few buckets of clean water and window washer to clean your car windows. Would highly recommend Junction Motel to anyone traveling to Maryborough.
