Wow we found a great caravan park in The Big4 in Forbes, the staff were super friendly and the park was spotless. We were in an en-suite powered site and it was perfect. Very impressed there was a heater in the en-suite I am not good with cold weather but it took the edge off

We stayed here a night towards the end of a long van trip, and some 16 different van parks. This was the ONLY park where the Wifi was non existent - simply would not connect up. Manager said 'not their problem' as it was a third party supplier. Annoying when you want to

Thank you for your lovely feedback on our park.We are sorry to hear that you could not connect to the wifi.Yes, the internet is a third party and on the ticket that we hand out is a help line of which you were told to ring to help you.The owners tried to help but as informed the internet was down in that hour.We did suggest to try a little later on or ring the free help support line.Otherwise normally you will enjoy free internet. We hope that you tried the free pancake's as well as that would of been perfect whilst doing your research .

Despite the well maintained sites and clean, albeit somewhat ancient amenities, we will never stay here again. When we had the audacity to point out that our washing came out of the machine dirty, we were informed that backpackers (who picked watermelons) had used the machines

Thank you for choosing Big4 Forbes to stay with. You first rang to book two days on a powered drive through site. Upon arrival you stated that it was a tentative booking and only wanted one night as it was your birthday the next day. Later that day you came into the office and showed the owners your towels that had marks on them, we apologised, gave you some more money to re wash and the owner went straight down to clean the washing machines. We have very nice hard-working backpackers here for the watermelon and pumpkin season, who are very kind and have been bringing home rockmelons and giving away to other guests in the park. They would be so sorry and wouldn’t have realised the dirt they left behind as they are working in dusty drought conditions. You said that you saw that the machines were dirty but put your clothes in anyway. Perhaps if you had alerted management before you placed your clothes in, we could have rectified the situation immediately. During the conversation that followed in the guest laundry, management was informed that you had plans to go to Eugowra and were just going to leave your washing in the machines because you had been inconvenienced and if anyone wanted to used the machine that they will have to pull your clothes out and put them in your bag as you were not going to wait. Also, that you had decided to stay another day. A useful tip when washing clothes is to have the water level correct. You had it set on small yet there was a large load of clothes that were being washed. A machine will never wash or spin correctly when settings are incorrect. Since your departure we placed a’ how to guide ‘on the wall to save any future problems. The next day we were inspecting the guest laundry and yet again we tried to reassure you that the machines work perfectly well as we endeavour to bend over backwards to try and help our guests. We do all our own linen in our park and we put through five loads of white linen in the same machine that you had used. .Everything came out fine. At 9.45am on the Sunday we turned off the pancake machine as everybody else had been down and had finished breakfast as per CCTV footage. You were well aware of what time the pancakes are on as you had discussed it with us. Isn’t it nice that we supply free pancakes, maple syrup, whipped cream and jam just for our guests? During the morning on the Sunday after being in the guest laundry you presented to the office and would not acknowledge the owners hello and slammed your money on the counter top and walked out. Verbal abuse is NOT acceptable on any occasion, so when you yelled at the owner from your site across the park because you missed out on pancakes, you were on verge of being requested to leave. The next morning the pancakes were on at 8am and we noted you left at 8. 45am.You were most welcomed to try them then and had every opportunity to. At No stage did the owner state that ‘Grey nomads are the worst, in fact you said that! The owner did say “yes, some people can be awful”. One of the owners himself being in his 60’s certainly means we are not anti-Grey nomads. They are the reason why we set up our stunning camp kitchen as it is. We encourage everyone to use it and to connect up with each other. In winter a fire pit is run nightly which makes for a wonderful experience for all. We work hard in our park to present the stunning lush oasis that it is for all our guests to enjoy. We wish you well on your endeavour’s.

We have stayed at this place on two occasions now. We returned there on March 3rd 2019 after a stay in drought country. The holiday park was green. Facilities were clean and even had complimentary pancakes in the morning. This is not a large park but a delightful place to

We chose to stay here solely because the caravan park has a jumping pillow, although it's situated in full sun and the temperature was 37 degrees when we arrived so didn't get a lot of use from it. There's also a small pool which was reasonably shaded which we did use, and icy
