These days anything will do in the Promised Land, an area just across the bridge at delightful Bellingen. But 'CasaBelle' is more than 'anything', its a gorgeous Tuscan style villa set in well kept acreage with native plants, trees and birds all around you. The suites are spacious, well furnished & equipped with fresh linens, a super comfortable bed. Our suite, one of three, had a little patio just off the lounge area. The communal areas are tastefully furnished. We had breakfast sitting outside looking at beautiful views across valleys whilst being waited on by Sue and Fritz the owners. The breakfast fare was more than one could wish for, all cooked to order. We liked the fruit compotes, a variety to choose from. Sue and Fritz, are a hard working couple eager to please their guests, it shows everywhere. We could have stayed longer than the two nights, we will return…
Casa Belle is fabulous , the setting is gorgeous and the hosts, Sue and Fritz, are so welcoming , so professional and their attention to detail means that guests want for nothing. The beds are huge and so comfortable. The breakfasts are to die for, everything prepared lovingly and so delicious. This is truly a place to relax and treat yourself to a luxurious break .. that’s why we keep coming back ..
Perhaps we haven't searched diligently, but we've been hard pressed for Australia to match our superb B&B experiences in Portugal, Italy and New Zealand. We realised we found our match upon driving up that gravel driveway, under a wood-panelled portico ceiling surrounded by a wildly perfect garden. Hosts Sue and Fritz were our most hospitable hosts; gentleness and quaintness in every interaction, cherished by us. This is important; a country escape isn't only from the sights and sounds of the city, it is arguably also an escape from city society. Like the villa they have built, the experience was unwavering in its warmness. The finishing touches. The imported terracotta tiles. The effort made in curating a beautiful garden. The afternoon tea and delightful cake that simply appeared while reading your book as the sun retreats beneath the Dorrigo wilderness. That breakfast. Oh, that breakfast. Complete in every detail, in every utensil and ingredient. Delicious in taste and experience. Casabelle was a pleasure which we'll recur; give yourself the opportunity to experience the same.…
We spent a night en route from Byron Bay to Sydney in this wonderful oasis on the outskirts of Bellingen. Hosts Sue and Fritz are super friendly and accommodating, producing a delicious afternoon tea on our arrival and a memorable breakfast, served with a great view over their large garden towards the Dorigo National Park. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the frog outside our window kindly stopped croaking before we went to sleep! Highly recommended.
We had the most wonderfull stay. Fritz and Sue were fantastic hosts. Providing the best cakes in the arvo and a massive delicious breakfast in the morning The property is fantastic with a great bath and beautiful grounds for walking our dog. Plus the access to walks in the nearby state forest. Perfect stay in bello.
