Been coming here years, time and again amazing, innovative and consistent quality! First came here in 1999 - changed over the years but always remains current and relevant due to dedicated staff and excellent customer service.

Due to the bad weather conditions on the mainland we were late getting to the island for our week holiday, so we had to put back our table until all 10 of us had arrived. Wine was good, beer was good and the food was good too. Although quite expensive but you expect that on this island.

We went there a few times during our stay on the Scillies. The staff were always friendly and helpful and although it was busy at times, service was good. The food was a bit expensive but that's expected. I paid nearly £9 for 2 pints and a packet of peanuts. I recommend the fish and chips. Really nice, thin crispy... More

We booked a 4 day trip inc flights, transfers and B&B at the above hotel for a price of £1270. All was well until we were showed to our double, sea view room!!! Which had a small double bed, no wardrobe, no chest of drawers and no room to swing a cat in!!! It was also unbelievably hot, so we... More

Firstly the island Tresco is spectacular, so The New Inn gets a good score simply from being on this incredible island. My room was overlooking the pool and this was a LOVELY room. A lovely view with a small outside seated area which was delightful. The room was lovely, comfy, clean and ideal. The pub itself is a little dated,... More

Booked into this pub/restaurant for an evening meal. Table was ready on our arrival and we had a warm welcome. Seated by the Windows we looked out onto the bay as evening fell. Magical! The food was excellent and presented well. Portions were generous. Wine list was good with choices for all budgets. On a warmer evening we could have... More

My husband and I were visiting the island last week and decided to have a bite to eat at the New Inn. Busy place, hard to find a table outside in the nice weather. My husband ordered a scotch egg, which was fine and I ordered a Crab and Prawn sandwich. The sandwich consisted of two giant door steps of... More

My friend and I travelled to Tresco after a 6 night most enjoyable stay on St Mary’s. We arrived on a Sunday for a 3 night stay at the New Inn. Our room was smaller than expected given the cost of the accommodation (B & B only) and as we were on 10 day visit to the Islands had largish... More

Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, if a little small, good food. Fascinating island with stunning Abbey Garden. Nice walking and visits to other islands. Only disappointment was mist and fog while we were there whilst the sun finally shone the day we left. At least it meant we could fly home - flights were cancelled the previous day
