Our group of four, though arriving a day late had the most brillient Christmas. All the staff and Robert the manager made us feel part of a house party Rooms are bright but cosy and very warm Room 8 for a couple is a little small. The little exra touches champagne and canapes on our first night. Stockings out side...

Our family of 6 took up the excellent offer of the New Inn 5-night Christmas Break. Unfortunately our flight was postponed due to bad weather so we arrived a day late. However, we were made very welcome, shown to our very clean and comfortable rooms and enjoyed a lovely walk around Tresco prior to a Champagne reception before dinner. The bar...

I can't recommend this pub enough. Stunning location on sunny Tresco. Fantastic beers and ciders on tap, including delectable Rattler. Very friendly staff, Katie in particular was a delight, recognising us on subsequent visits, and the bar manager who welcomed everybody by the door on Christmas Day, what service! Watch out for a game of "killer" on the pool table,...

We had dinner here whilst on holiday on the island. The food is pricey, but what you'd expect from Tresco. Our food was very good pub food. Hot and swiftly served to all seven of us. The only criticism is that the bar music playing through the spud system was making the atmosphere more like a heavy rock venue. Possibly...

Lovely short stay 4 night DBB at the New Inn at a reasonable cost. Seamless transfer from aeroplane to bus to boat to tractor. The staff were very professional and friendly - nothing too much trouble - rooms were immaculately clean, lovely sea views, log fire, cake and tea in the afternoon. Breakfast was superb. Very generous portions for dinner...

We had booked the winter escape break of 4 nights DBB and had a really nice stay. A few negatives first: this was end of the season, so not much was happening on any of the islands, so island hopping was not possible as the boat services really shut down. No chance of going to St Agnes or St Martins...

I have just returned with my wife from a four night weekend break at The New Inn. Clearly it is difficult to review anywhere that is just starting its low, low season but Tresco is a fantastic venue for a quiet weekend at this time of year, with mild weather and plenty of walking available. All flights, boats, transfers etc...

We thoroughly enjoyed a 4 night Winter Warmer break at the New Inn. At this time of year I think that we were lucky to find a hotel in the Isles of Scilly that were still offering Dinner, Bed & Breakfast as most others that are still open are only offering B & B. The food was very good with...

Stayed here in October with my partner. Firstly, let me say that getting here is an adventure car, plane and boat and finally an electric bus. The hotel/inn is in a central location and well situated to explore the island. I paid for a sea view and was not disappointed. The food is good, much of it from the sea. Unfortunately...

I've been visiting this pub since I was a child and now I'm 32. The food is always scrumptious, the staff are lovely and it's always relaxed and cozy. But each year the prices increase. And this year, it's become crazy. £14 for a burger and chips. £26 for a fillet steak. Some people have the cash and are happy...
