We stayed 3 nights at A Maquia. Nice place Rosy was a blast. Rooms overlooking the ocean walking in and out of a small terrace. Nice common sitting area in the reception area. Breakfast was OK - fresh eggs and the normal assortment of goodies - nothing extra special. Rooms clean, shower good, WIFI pretty good as well. Location is...

I'm going to run out of superlatives in describing this place. It's a lovely house with bicely decorated, spacious rooms, scrupulously clean. It's set in lovely grounds with a swimming pool. The garden slopes down ot the sea, you can walk to a lovely beach. The owner is really nice and helpful. The rooms don't have a comfy chair or...

We took the suite, it's worth the price! What a view over the ria!!!! The beach, very near, is calm and undisturbed. The room and all the hotel is spotless. The breakfast, correct. May be the coffee needs to be stronger and hotter. Rose: she is an angel, always helpful and giving lots of advise. THANK YOU! A problem: there...

Visiting the week between Xmas and the New Year we had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. The room was very well maintained and comfortable and had heat which is necessary at this time of year. Breakfasts were included and had good variety including eggs to order. We obviously weren't using the swimming pool at this time of year but...

Small hotel, very peaceful and confortable too. Rosi was the best, always smiling and extremely helpful. The only downside was the breakfast which didn't have much choice. The pool is a little cold because it's a salt water one but the there's a small beach just a couple of minutes from the hotel.

On our way to A Maquia we had car trouble which meant the start of our two night stay had to be delayed by 24 hours. However Sonia, who we spoke to to deal with this issue (at very short notice), couldn't have been more helpful to re-arrange our visit. Because of said car trouble therefore, we nearly missed our...

Staying here is like staying with super friendly, sweet and helpful friends. They have a house to die for: comfortable, classy rooms, a huge living-room where you can lounge for hours, a special room where you can read or watch one of the DVD's and a garden with a lots of chairs and a great swimming pool. A dip in...

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. At the end of a round trip in Galicia this was the place we came to rest the most. We booked the suite for us and that was an excellent choice. Very spacy room with whirlpool bath but the best part was the big bed from wich you...

According to us, A Maquia is an excellent place for vacations in Europe. The location on the marvellous Pontevedra fiord looks ideal. The care they take of you is unrivalled .Cooking is of the high rate familiar kind. Sonia (the Manager) and her collaborators (Rosa, Marisa and Anna; and the staff in its whole) perform both as skilled professionals and...
