We spent a heavenly week at La Torre with our family over the Christmas season. La Torre offers a wonderful antidote to a a busy, hectic city life. It is very remote but has state of the art mod cons in the suites/rooms (all have their own personality and theme) combined with an exceptional service team in a warm and...

This place is absolutely stunning. Two big Landsheren came towards us to welcome us in the parking lot. They guided us into the restaurant where we had a fantastic dinner. Food and wine amazingly good. Fairytale worthy

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. First impressions was WOW. It's very OUT of the way and you have to follow a dirt track for about 5 miles but don't give up. Just carry on going. The hotel is very modern and the views are spectacular. It is very quiet though especially in the winter months as the pool...

Remotely placed in the hills towards the river valley, it is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday, a good place to start on walking tours in the area, and excellent dinner and breakfast in the kitchen in the morning. The many terrasses always offer a beautiful view

As near to paradise as it is possible to be without being hit by a thunderbolt for presumption. It's not just the attention to detail, the gorgeous food, the sympathetic staff, the exquisite taste. It's the feeling that everyone who works at the Torre is happy to be there and would rather work there than at any other establishment on...

Believe all the superlatives you read about this place. It is, as one contributor has said, more like staying in someone's home than in a hotel. Jemma and her excellent staff make you feel instantly part of the "family" and the informal efficiency is what makes it such a relaxing place to stay. Don't be put off by the drive...

Wonderful location, excellent kitchen using high quality produce that are prepared with respect, very friendly and helpful staff, ... The owner and her team do everything to make you feel at home. We particularly liked the concept of the open wine cellar, the freely accessible kitchen with chef's table, and brunch instead of breakfast. It is the perfect location to...

This is a wonderful hotel. It's about a 3km drive along a gravel road so don't be surprised. But it creates a wonderful private atmosphere that you will see as soon as you arrive. The hotel looks out on a beautiful valley with nothing but nature in view. The buildings and grounds are wonderfully kept, with gardens and ponds. The...

Warm evening. Few other guests - Started with a sherry, Osborne (oloroso) on the terrace, looking down into the valley. Drifted into the dining room, enjoying a feeling of deepening calm after some days of magnificent but muscular touring on the R90s down through France and over the Pyrenees, then a couple of nights in Barcelona drinking my weight in...

One does not expect to find such a level of sophistication , good taste and overall eficiency in the middle of the rugged Matarrana region. Well away form "civilization" is this oassis of delightful taste and peace. A feeling that gets enhanced by the almost trauma that is getting there through a 5.5 km drive on gravel road that at...
