This is a great hotel. We had a room with a balcony with excellent views. The service was faultless and friendly. The breakfast is amazing with both buffet and a la carte on offer and accompanied by live piano music. There is always a little surprise each afternoon with complimentary cakes and fruits delivered to your room. On one occasion, gin and tonic were delivered to our room for our consumption.

We are huge fans of Capri but have never stayed in Anacapri before. We wanted to give it a try and selected Capri Palace due the many things it has to offer.
This is truly a full service hotel. The amenities , eateries and staff are absolutely 5 star. Unfortunately, the rooms are not. I don’t want that comment to take away from how amazing and hard working the staff is but I do think management should think about the many necessary upgrades needed to the rooms.
Outside of that, we very much enjoyed our stay. Having Zuma on-site on the rooftop is wonderful. The food and views there are outstanding and it is a very lively and fun vibe. Bar degli Artisti was also amazing. The performers Miriam and Aziz were incredible and made for such a fun time. We would seriously arrange our dinners around trying to see them perform. They are also such warm and genuine people.
The shining star of Capri Palace is by far Il Riccio. The coveted position of this restaurant and beach club just next to the blue grotto is absolutely stunning but what truly makes this place is the staff!!! Roberto who runs Il Riccio is the absolute best. This restaurant is obviously a well known establishment but Roberto’s warmth and welcoming demeanor spills down to his staff which makes dining and spending the day here an unforgettable experience. Lifeguards and beach club staff, Mona and Pasquale, are extremely attentive and pleasure to share the beautiful setting alongside. They made our days at il riccio so perfect and ones we will always remember! We are so grateful to them and the rest of the staff at Capri Palace.

Nice but not 5 star luxury! Good breakfast but slow service even though the guys were friendly, perhaps a little tired. To be a 5 *L at least the fruit juices must be fresh! The environment is devoid of atmosphere, the setting with dried flowers has an impact which, however, after a while disturbs the sense of smell (sensation of dust). The pool lounger mattresses were dirty and sloppy. The sofas in the breakfast room were also stained. The staff in the rooms also enters when the customers are inside, to bring water and that's it! The floors of the rooms and bathrooms are beautiful, the structure lacks something. I didn't find it to my taste. I expected something better and some welcome "pampering", apart from the fruit on the first day.

Capri Palace was a dream, like in a picture book - we thought. We were back in reality relatively quickly. We were greeted in a rather unspectacular way, different to what we are used to in Jumeirah hotels. Then the room: shabby, rust everywhere on the railings and a beige shower curtain in the bathroom, as was common in social housing in the 70s. The room wasn't even particularly well cleaned. We asked to speak to the manager and although I had the highest membership level at Jumeirah, they didn't want to give us another room because they were all taken. It was only when we wanted to leave that a garden suite suddenly became available. We moved. The room was spacious and had its own pool. The next day we moved again, this time to a junior suite with a sea view. This room was OK. It was definitely not brilliant. Of course, the view of the sea from our room was very nice and we were upgraded for free after we complained. But is this much hassle necessary? Unfortunately, in the evening the noise from the Zuma restaurant above was so extreme that even with the door closed the constant booming of the music could be heard. The service in the hotel is completely different to that in the usual Jumeirah hotels, in fact much worse than everywhere else in Jumeirah and we have already stayed in many hotels in the group. The concierge service is extremely bad. They always try to sell you the most expensive thing (island tour etc.) because the "cheaper" excursions were not available in 6 days. After a few complaints the service got a little better, but why do you have to fight for acceptable service in a luxury hotel? So we spent our vacation in a supposedly luxury hotel where there was no luxury apart from the luxurious payment. Jumeirah should start asking itself why regular guests are starting to stay away when the prices are getting higher and the quality is falling dramatically.

I very rarely post reviews but this hotel had to be mentioned and given proper recognition for the exceptional level of service that it’s team provides. We booked a 5 night stay for myself, wife and daughter for our wedding anniversary less than 2 weeks before the arrival date. From the moment that reservation was made the staff have been on top of their game catering to everything we have requested and also coming up with many of their own suggestions also. The highlight of the service we received was a room upgrade to a fabulous suite! Many thanks to Giusy and Vincenti as front desk managers for making this happen.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff including those at the port, the beach club and service was always with a huge smile. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone considering a stay on the island of capri!! We have stayed at many hotel in the luxury groups and they could take a look at the experience Capri Palace provides for their guests and definitely learn a thing or two!!

I took my wife there for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. The hotel will pick you up from the ferry and take you directly to Ana Capri. The lobby is amazing. The rooms are lovely. Service is exceptional. The chairlift to top of the mountain is right next-door and the staff will escort you to avoid the queue. Their newly opened Amare Capri restaurant, which is right next to their beach club has fabulous food, and a view! A secret tip, you can walk down the stairs to take the rowboat into the famous Blue Grotto thus avoiding taking a separate boat to get to it. All in all, a fantastic trip. Highly recommend this hotel for a special experience.

we had an excellent experience and I would defiantly re-visit again. the support extended even at baggage collection & drop out from & to the ferry. The hotel facilities and staff are supper professional and the outdoor lobby with the wood backed pizza is remarkable

Capri was absolutely beautiful! This hotel was beautiful & amazing! Great staff, food,location and service! We were treated so well by everyone! This hotel is spectacular and so many ways! Great pool, clean, spacious rooms and great service at the hotel restaurants and bar! The breakfast was great we didn’t have any complaints! Zuma rooftop restaurant was amazing!! The views, food and service 10/10!!! The Capri chairlifts are very close to the hotel best time to go would be around 5pm otherwise the lineups are insane! So many snacking restaurants and shops around the hotel. We went to the Dior beach club and it was great but it was way too hot! I wish they had a pool or something and it was really cool to see. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious so glad we made reservations! Staff were so nice and a fabulous vibe!! This hotel was perfect for us and we had an amazing stay! We will definitely go back! Our flight was early morning and we were so happy when they provided us 3 boxes full of breakfast it was a great surprise!! We got the hotel to make arrangements for pick up and drop off and so glad we did that!! It was a bit pricey but totally worth every penny! Once we got off the ferry a driver was waiting for us to drop us off at the airport!! So pay the extra for transfers!!

We just spent a week at the Capri Palace Hotel and just WOW.... it was so far beyond expectations. The photos online don't even do this hotel justice. Everything from the public areas to restaurant to bedrooms to the professional manner of every member of staff we came in contact with was exceptional. It was quieter than normal due to Covid but that worked to our advantage. It is set in the quieter area of the island Anacapri which is absolutely beautiful and easy to get around. We arrived on an early ferry from Sorrento to drop off our bags they offered us complimentary breakfast which we enjoyed and by the time we were finished both of our rooms were ready which was amazing. Even more amazingly both rooms were upgraded to seaview rooms! The concierge was always on hand to offer advice of restaurants and trips and to book what we needed. They offer a complimentary shuttle service from the port to hotel and also their beach club II Riccio which is a must visit. As a hotel guest you can use the sunbeams at II Riccio free of charge but they need to be booked. The other thing I loved about the hotel was their recommendations for local restaurants of all price ranges and all were excellent. We were really sad to have to leave this very special hotel and hope to return some day. Go check it out for yourself you won't be disappointed

Not sure if it’s heated. We were there in Sept/Oct and temp was perfect but so was the outside temp. I’m pretty sure they keep it open if the weather is accommodating… Also I recommend to get one of the signature suites (if you can) as you’ll have their own pool (but not for laps).

The hotel is located right on the door step of many shops and restaurants so we only used the shuttle for the Beach Club (recommended) Nice Mercedes van.
There are more places to choose from in the Anacapri area.
