The view here is unbeatable, food was great as well. Our room was very outdated and pillows hard as a Rick. Honestly surprised this is a 5 star hotel aside from the view. Rooms need a dramatic overhaul.

Well what a fantastic experience visiting the lovely Island of Capri and this wonderful hotel. We wanted for nothing. A fantastic experience started prior to arrival with the hotel contacting us to check our schedule to ensure we were collected from Capri harbour and driven up in their luxury Mercedes mini bus with complimentary refreshments. On arrival at the hotel Francesco welcomed us and took us for a tour around the hotel to make us familiar with the surroundings. During our stay we enjoyed the beautiful views towards Naples and Mount Vesuvius whilst being looked after by all of the staff but special words go to Donato Natale who served our drinks and food in the evening on the terrace. Francesca De Santo the concierge wow what a role she plays, works ever so hard to ensure your every need is catered for from booking taxis, restaurants, advising the best places to visit the list goes on.... thank you Francesca. I must say a massive thank you to all of the rest of the staff who I didn't get to know as well on first name terms but you all deserve a round of applause extremely professional and contentious. And finally a big thank you to Don Paulo the owner you have truly created a lovely venue and your daily presence doesn't go unnoticed ensure the ship is kept on course, I can see from how happy the staff are it's a great place to work and credit to you for taking time out to speak to the guests during their stays. Will see you again soon. Mr Roberts and Miss Herbert

Magnificent hotel. Truly breathtaking views. Stayed at the Vesuvius Suite, which were some of the best views I've ever had anywhere. The hotel was very welcoming, with the owner even greeting us and talking to us when we checked in and throughout our stay. The food was incredible, definitely recommend eating dinner at their restaurant. The pool was amazing, with great drinks, attentive staff, and again, phenomenal views. The terrace offered amazing drinks, fresh seafood, and the live music was some of the best we heard ever. Relais & Chateaux properties are simply a class above other hotel groups.

The Caesar Augustus offers the most magnificent natural setting imaginable made comfortable by a gracious staff, whose charming leader is a member of the family that owns the immaculate, elegant villa. Meals are beautifully prepared from ingredients grown in the gorgeous gardens on the property, and they are served expertly by a friendly and knowledgable team. Thanks to our Virtuoso travel advisor, we were lucky to be upgraded to the gracious Caesar Suite with a private garden and arched windows overlooking the sea. Some Americans may want to inquire about the bathroom fittings in specific rooms before visiting. Ours were lovely but might not be easily accessible to all visitors. The Capri boat tour, custom sandal experience and private boat transfer to Amalfi that were arranged by the very competent concierge team are highly recommended and were among the highlights of our wonderful visit.

Exquisite. It begins with Francesco, the son of the owner, who personally welcomes you. This hospitality extends to the rest of the staff who are so kind, friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a magical stay. If you want to experience the true Italian dolce vita, stay here. You will never regret it. Can’t wait to return!

My favorite thing about CA is the view from the terrace at happy hour which we attended every night. The Terrace manager was Denato and he was fantastic. It’s family owned and run with the father-son duo ever present making sure every detail is right. The restaurant food is also very good and the views outstanding. Only negative is the room wasn’t five star and the bathroom was too small for my wife and i to both use at the same time. But that doesnt bring it down from 5 stars. Also the massage gym and veggie garden are worth seeing.

April 2022 visit with Wife and two daughters -5 nights. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot of incredible hotels. It is hard to explain just how special this hotel is - everything from the property, rooms, staff, and owners (yes -they actually take time with guests) are amazing. We had two rooms - Tiberius suite and a junior suite, and both were amazing. I don't need to post pictures, as they can't do justice to in person, but there are some great ones on-line. What sets this hotel apart are the staff and owners - who make you feel like you are a guest at a private home, and an incredible one at that. There was literally nothing that I could have asked for differently during our week there.

This is probably the most elegant Hotel, in the most wonderful grounds and situated in the most beautiful location you will ever come across. In addition to this, you can also expect superb customer service and genuinely exquisite food. Waking up each morning and seeing the view from our room across the Bay of Naples is something I will never forget.

My husband and I booked this spot for a two day Capri stop during our trip through Italy . Hotel staff are welcoming, and helpful for whatever you need . Helder was fabulous in every way . Donato in the bar so attentive , and truly cared about service . Greeted by the owner , who was gracious and charming . Breakfast each morning was a huge selection of food , juices , coffee , anything you need . Dinner equally as wonderful , service spectacular . We hiked around the property which has a beautiful garden. Small outdoor gym facing the water . The views from our rooms were amazing! Quaint rooms with all you need . Luxe towels and bedding . Anacapri is a quick walk from hotel , and many shops and places to dine . Not a complaint , but only queen beds , which were small . Not a problem though, very comfy . Five stars 🌟 ! Thanks for the treat of sharing your hotel with us !

Everything about this hotel is a treat: the view, the service, the food, the pool, the garden, the rooms. It's truly spectacular and I can't wait to get back. Aside from the most incredible view in Capri, the people make this place special. I want to give a shout out specifically to Vincenzo at the pool who is seemingly always there when you need him (before you even ask), and Miriam at the terrace bar who was so fun to talk to over cocktails on the sunset terrace. You will not be disappointed in this place (it'd be impossible).
