Won't be going back Not to this hotel. It was well over priced, has no spa facilities which it advertises, not very easy to park , unless your confident driver, the steps are just to much on a hot day. However agia efima is fantastic little harbour town with spires being a favourite restaurant. You definitely need a car because... More

We have just returned after a two week stay at the Kefalonia Palace. We loved the island and enjoyed our holiday, however our stay at this hotel left us feeling frustrated and sad for the staff who work so hard to make up for the lack of management skill and direction. It is certainly not a hotel for the faint... More

Pros: Excellent place to use as a base for seeing the nicest parts of the island. Good local tavernas nearby; Agia Efimia is a traditional quiet little town and that's what we wanted. No rowdy bars etc. Super sea views (from all the rooms) Friendly staff, esp the maid who was a delight. Good pool and 5 mins walk to... More

A wonderful place to stay and we didn't mind the many steps up to our room each day! It was worth it for the fantastic views at the top! The staff are so friendly, the food is delicious (we went half board) and it's a great place to relax and unwind. We will be going back for another visit (something... More

This is our fifth visit to this family-run hotel, overlooking the sea, in a very tranquil setting. The best accommodation are the villas at the side, with private pools and large terraces for lounging and bird watching over the sea and adjacent hillside. Our villa was comfortable, clean and, being detached, very quiet. There is a fridge and kettle. The... More

Just stayed for a week what can you say brilliant views great staff the lady in the reception just can't do enough for you sure it's got lots of steps but to get a view like that you need a bit of height!! The cleanliness of the hotel is brilliant and overall hard to fault the place can't wait to... More

We've just returned from a 10 day stay at the Kefalonia Bay Palace hotel and really enjoyed it - the hotel itself is billed as a 5 star ( which is by Greek standards, I'd say) and it is really nice, but some things could change to make it even better. For example, there are weeds all around the pool... More
