A clean nice hotel. Great food, fantastic Staff. A very helpful smiling guy at the reception. The best waiter Alexis (a tall man), thank You so much! We liked all: food, room, warm sea, thank You, Sentido!
We are just back from our 2 weeks stay in this hotel, and with hand on my heart I can say it was just incredible. Hotel is clean, and spacious. The restaurant is amazing, the food was always very fresh and very tasty. There isn't as much choice as in previous hotels I stayed in it, but for this place less means better! All meats were soft, salads and fruits always fresh, and their desserts were divine! We loved the snack bar at the pool with freshly made pizzas, chips, gyros, sandwiches, salads and many more. The rooms are spacious for a family of 3, and they were always cleaned to top standards. We had a sea view room and the views were spectacular. The kids pool with slides and sprinklers and a great touch. There is plenty of sunbeds, and what we loved about this hotel is we didn’t have to rush, every morning to get the sunbeds as there was always some free ones around the pool all day long. There is also sunbeds on the beach reserved for the hotel. Yes, beach is very stony so make sure to bring swimming shoes with you. What made our holiday extra special was the staff working there! Every single one of them is just incredible! Alexis, Irina, George, Nikos Tsambika – just to name a few, they made you feel like a part of a family, and you could see that their smiles and conversations weren’t fake but they actually cared. Special Thanks to the lifeguard Tasos who is just an incredible human being, and made our daughters (and ours) days by the pool better, if there was more people like him, the world would be a better place. Another special thanks to the lovely animation team (especially Karolina, who’s smile would bright up the dullest day). There was always something to do during the day, and their evening entertainment was great as well (loved the bingo and quiz nights)! Our little girl loooooved the mini club and mini disco in the eveinings. The staff of this hotel should be praised everyday, without them this hotel would be another place on the map, but they make it special. I am sure we will be back to see them all in the future!…
First of all I want to say the staff in this hotel were absolutely fantastic. The service you get here from these people is incredible. Rooms: Reasonably well sized rooms on offer here. We had a sea view room, probably the furthest room from the main building as requested a quiet room from reading reviews here that the main building can be loud some evenings and we have a 3 year old who is a light sleeper. It was a very quiet room indeed. Air con, fridge and TV here with mostly European channels, a tip would be to bring a firestick and watch whatever you want. As we were beside the beach bar, it has a live band playing from 9-11pm on Wednesdays so we factored this in and all was good. Food: The selection of food was not particularly big compared to other all inclusive hotels however, what was on offer was superb and we'll prepared, the quality of ingredients and meats were way better than that of other hotels. Less is more in the case of food here. Pool areas: The main pool is big with a good amount of sunbeds. Thankfully there was no need to be up early to get sunbeds, there were sunbeds free most of the days. All are mostly free until 10am, the added bonus here is that there is a relax pool a little further away which were all taken by guests with no children and also a large amount of sunbeds on the beach which are for hotel guests only. Big shout out to the lifeguard Tasos, he made our daughters days happy and cheerful around the pool, a great guy and great with kids and adults alike. The pool bar also had a nice selection of drinks and food on offer throughout the day. Animation team: The girls and the guy were very good providing daytime and evening entertainment as well as running the miniclub. Karolina and the gang are very approachable and always smiling. They also go around the pool most days offering free watermelon. Gardens: We loved the garden area here and spotted that there are many herbs and watermelons growing around different locations in the hotel. They are very eco aware and we had the pleasure of spotting toads and praying mantis insects here which were a lovely sight. We would definitely stay in Sentido Asterias Beach Resort again if we return to Rhodes. A tip would be to rent a car like we did for a few days as it is remote, but that's what we wanted on this holiday. It is a beautiful island with a nice shallow sandy beach just a 10 min drive away called Tsambika beach. Great for kids with its crystal clear waters. …
We're just back from a fantastic 12 day all-inclusive stay in Sentido Asterias and I couldn't recommend it highly enough! We stayed in a family room - initially under the bar area where there are family friendly events each night till 11pm. The Greek night was quite loud so we asked if we could move and with no issues whatsoever we were moved to another family room by the pool. They made the process easy and clear that this was no issue. The selection and quality of foot was divine! We all loved it. The bar food by the pool was lovely and you could help yourself to salads etc and get chicken / pork pittas (to die for!) or pizza etc - simple and delicious. If you want particular drinks e.g. Jack Daniels / Tangueray etc you need to pay for those, but otherwise on our package you could get all sorts such as whiskey sour, wine etc included. The staff were soo lovely - Geoge (x2) and Alexandra at reception, Thea in the restaurant, Yoti at the fresh orange bar, Nikos and Tsambika at the pool bar and all the cleaning staff, waiting staff etc were just lovely. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. PS: Make sure you bring beach shoes as it's a little stoney under foot and they make the experience of getting in and out of the clear waters easier.…
My mother in law and I have stayed here for the last 2 weeks. We have had a lovely chilled holiday. The staff have been very accommodating and always have a hello and a smile. Special mention to young George on reception who was knowledgeable about places to visit etc. Also Kiri who was helpful and genuine and always ready to help. The dining room staff work hard a special mention to the lovely Konstantine on the beach bar who works really hard to deliver service with a smile. Lisa also needs a mention as she always took time out to speak to us, unlike the top manager who just wandered around not even speaking to the customers and asking there opinions. The hotel is clean! Well done to the maintenance staff and the lifeguards Tassos who constantly mingle with the customers and make sure everyone is happy. Overall a really pleasurable holiday.…
would really recommend this place. all inclusive is excellent value for money- had everything i needed. the room was lovely and clean, as were all the facilities. the pool bar is excellent. drinks and snacks available quickly all day. the staff were all so friendly, felt like by the end i knew them personally they really put in the extra effort. the buffet restaurant was different every time and had good variety. only possible negative for me is the beach. it’s a bit pebbly which isn’t what i like, but i sat round the pool everyday and it was excellent
Had the pleasure to have a massage treatment at the spa here. The Deep Tissue massage was carried out by Zoi who also works the spa reception for most of the time. She was highly professional and competent, the massage was very soothing and relaxing, at the same time rightfully intense. Lots of thanks to Zoi. Actually, this spa experience was the highlight of my stay here, although the service provided by many members of the staff around the whole hotel is top notch.
Really nice and relaxing resort with great facilities. The staff are polite, helpful and always there for you. Both restaurants, bars and pools are great and the included beach chairs are adding up to a good experience. Tennis and basket are free, so bring your rackets and balls. The spa is really good and at affordable rates, so make sure not to miss that.
Been at Sentido Asterias with my Family the last week of September as a surprise holiday for my parents, not the first time in Greece , but first time at Sentido Hotel and definetly not the last time. The room was nice, comfortable and clean; pool areas very spacious and well equipped, and of course the beach was something that Greece is well known for. The food was very rich with a wide selection to choose from the bufet. My only suggestion is that it would be easier for everyone if hot water is available to guests instead of asking every time. It was time consuming (for guests and waiters) and ineffective. The cherry on the cake was the evening activities where everyone enjoyed the evening programs organized by the animation team conducted in a very proffesional way by their team leader. Public relations and reception staff was very proffesional, so after our experience in this hotel I have only one thing to say, Outstanding! …
We stayed at the Sentido for one week in Oct 2021, with breakfast included only. The hotel is exceptionally clean with Covid safety measures (masks in communal areas and plastic gloves supplied at breakfast). The hotel is big but did not feel too big as breakfast is in 4 sittings and there are two large outdoor pools. Plenty of space around the pool and the beach. The beach is a pebble and sand beach. V quiet and v clean (apart from the cigarette butts that guests put in the sand - why do people do that?!). The breakfast was plentiful and varied - from traditional Greek style to bacon and eggs, fruits, yoghurt etc. Spoilt for choice. I had a massage at the spa which was also very good (thanks Lila). The thing that we liked most about this hotel was the staff and service. Most staff speak a high level of English, German as well as Greek and could not help us enough. George at reception was brilliant. Thea and other breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Thank you to all at the Sentido Asterias!…
