...The hotel is dated and the reception area is slightly depressing (think 80s Shirley Valentine movie) The main man on reception was really helpful and welcoming, considering we arrived past 1am... If you’re looking for an all inclusive package style hotel then this not it. We travelled as a couple for 4 nights with the understanding that we would get what we paid for... If you have fussy eaters or children, like mine, who will only eat chicken nuggets and pizza, this is not the hotel for you... We never made it to breakfast so I am unable to comment and we chose to eat out as we came to realisation that this was a hotel better suited to a B and B... Our biggest bug bear was paying for drinks, even soft ones after 10.30pm, this is something we have never experienced in an all inclusive hotel... However, if you brought children who can’t entertain themselves this is not the hotel for you... Taxis are expensive, 37 euros to Rhodes old town one way and 20 euros to Faliraki... We considered booking hotels in these areas as if would have been cheaper for the night than a round trip... To be honest we could have saved money on eating out and just gone self catering, however we drank all day and found things to eat which did warrant the upgrade to all Inc. All in all it was a pleasant short stay but wouldn’t return for a family holiday, just not enough to do in the hotel, surrounding area and the food wasn’t great...

No strawberries, banana or grapes only fresh fruit they had was watermelon and melon everyday... We ate out for lunch and dinner most nights which added an extra cost to our holiday The cocktails were okay had a list of about 10 ,they had a selection of spirits but you wouldn’t be able to tell they had alcohol in...

This is our second time staying at this hotel, it’s such good value for what you get... He is new there; I wouldn’t imagine he’ll be there for too much longer as he is so off putting and unfriendly that he’ll end up costing the family repeat custom... ...The hotel is ideally situated on a bus route, got to Rhodes Town and Lindos easily and cheap... Made no difference to us as we bought a few beers and bottles of wine from the shop next door, but if you are going here on a budget expecting not to have to pay for anything else you will likely be disappointed... The drinks are not of a good quality and the plastic party type cups, even if staying in the bar area isnt great... I would honestly be gutted if I had to part with money to buy them... Finally, personally id say it is not for families with young children... It's a nice place to chill and use as a base but the 4.5 out of 5 review score is potentially misleading to some who might choose this hotel on a budget...

Im not sure what I missed with all these lovely reviews, but can honestly say I would never recommend this hotel, we arrived in the evening, we were rushed to eat as the kitchen wanted to close, so felt guilty, after a very long day we wanted a shower, the shower was freezing, went to reception in the morning and was told to wait for the sun to shine for 2 or 3 hours then maybe we could have a hot shower (maybe) ... The drinks at the bar were limited, and no entertainment other than the one Greek night...

Hotel is right next to a dual carriageway that was noisy all day long... Been to many Greek Islands and Rhodes our second time I certainly won’t bother going back... Will never ever go all inclusive in Greece again... I can’t understand why this hotel was self catering up until this year as there is no restaurants/taverns within 20 minutes walking distance to support the custom... Wouldn’t even go if it was free I’m afraid...

...On the positive, the staff are amazing and so friendly. They even drove me to a chemist so I would get there before it closed, and helped in the early hours of the morning when my daughter and her friend were stranded by a taxi, making sure they got home safely... All the stuff work so hard, the rooms were cleaned every day, with clean bedding and towels... The pool is well looked after every day, with plenty of beds and parasols...

...We arrived at the end of August for 7 nights, arrived late to lovely staff, who showed us to our room, which was spotless, smelt fresh of lemons, clean white fluffy towels, and lovely fresh sheets. Both towels and bedding were changed each day... Pool was more than adequate and always found a sun lounger, drinks served in a plastic cup but not such a bad thing to keep everyone safe... A final mention to the lovely lady on reception (with dark hair) who was extremely helpful and arranged our day trip to Symi Island and a hired car for 2 days, you are a wee gem...

...I didn’t expect much….. the reviews from when we booked to arrival gradually got worse. The good Clean, room we had a ground floor 2 bed apartment had two outdoor seating areas and a full size fridge tea and coffee facilities... Bad Small pool, grumpy bar staff during day especially not impressed by the plastic not recycled cups being used and daytime barman refused to Put drinks in my reusable cup!... Buses are every hour going to Lindos/falariki or Rhodes town... There is a land train which to get to the centre of Afoundou is expensive for the distance, it’s same price to do 30min land train journey... This is our second time staying at this hotel, it’s such good value for what you get... They are cleaned daily and are left spotless... The meat was good quality and they sometimes had proper homemade chips on offer... They did their best to keep everything going despite these difficulties, the chef must have been dying in the kitchen with the extreme heat and no lights - an admirable task... He hates making drinks, people, life, smiling, everything... But the water was always a good temperature and decent pressure...

...All of the public areas including the toilets were also clean and tidy. The pool, at first glance looks smaller then advertised, but more the meets with the needs of the baking weather, Billy the owner checks it several times a day making sure it’s chemically clean (and it really is)... The young fella that works the pool bar during the day could benefit from a bit of customers service training, he really didn’t seem to enjoy he’s job and finds it hard to hide it... Now a few negatives: all drinks are served in plastic cups even in the evening and it’s local spirits…there aren’t any snacks served during the day, apart from the leftover pastries from breakfast and you can only get an ice cream during the time that the dining room is open (2hours over lunch/evening) which means people were having to go next door to buy snacks from the little shop... There is a kettle and fridge in the rooms but the tea/coffee/sugar isn’t replenished at all and there are paper cups to drink from (yuk) we had to ask for new ones as these aren’t replaced either... The pool is closed at 6pm everyday, Billy (the owner) blows a whistle which heralds the end of swimming, which is a shame because it’s so lovely at that time in late afternoon... We didn’t pay much for the week and more or less got what we expected...

Went here for 10 days on the 17th of June. Arrived in the early hours of the morning and were warmly greeted by Ilios (hope my spelling is correct) He stated that the restaurant was closed but supplied us with ready made sandwiches which was a nice touch... Our room was much as we expected (we have travelled to a few Greek islands) beds were very comfortable, room was spotlessly cleaned, and was maintained this way for the duration of our stay... Air conditioning and safe were included at no extra cost... The pool and pool area are also exceptionally well maintained... I am an early riser and regular saw staff cleaning and hosing the area around 6am... I was really surprised by the amount of all inclusive cocktails (10) the bar was well stocked and service was excellent... What really makes this place so good though is the staff... Every single staff member we met was very friendly and were always happy to help... We asked at reception for advice on car hire and within 20 minutes , after a phone call from the receptionist, our car was delivered to the apartments... We arrived home at 4am on the 28th and within an hour of getting home we were booked up for 5th June next year for 2 weeks...

...It took us a couple of days to get settled here but for the money we payed we really enjoyed it. The rooms are kept immaculate, the shower does flood the floor but soon dried up... Nice balcony with table and chairs... So easy to get in to Rhodes Town, Lindos and Falaraki by bus which stops outside the hotel and only cost a few euros... The staff here are lovely Maria on reception was so helpful and friendly... The night barman ( Crazy Billy’s son ) was great a real laugh who knew exactly how I liked my Gin & Tonic and Cocktails... The hotel manager who is the there at night was lovely stopped his car and gave us a lift in to Afandu when he saw us walking one night which we really appreciated... This was really good value for the money we paid would we stay there again yes if we got it at a good price again... We are staying for 2 weeks in Rhodes Town at the Mitsis hotel soon and I said to the Crazy Billy’s son ( night barman) that we would come and see them one night which we will do...

...Rooms are basic but clean and tidy, fridge and hairdryer in the room along with a TV, room was cleaned & bedding done every 2 days... I've also heard people calling Ilios (Sorry if I spelt your name wrong) the evening bar man "grumpy" Well we thought he was a nice bloke, had a few good chats with him and he gave us a good recommendation for a restaurant in Afandou on one of the nights we went out and have to say it was excellent... If all you speak to him for is to order your drinks then he's not going to bother trying to chat to you is he??...... The hotel itself is quite a walk into town but there is a bus or a taxi is about €10... As I mentioned we had a car so spent most of our time out exploring,(free parking at the back of the hotel which is a bonus) Rhodes is a beautiful island and speaking to other guests, the bus service is really good...

...Reading some of the earlier reviews was a little concerning however I have to disagree with them, for a 3* all inclusive this hotel far exceeded my expectations... Staff are all very friendly and always happy to help... I would like to mention Zoe in the restaurant she was brilliant with our 2 year old always making a fuss of him and even buying him a gift to which was so kind... Also a mention to Yanis at the bar he was absolutely brilliant and again amazing with our 2 year old making us feel welcome straight away... All staff were friendly and you could see how hard they were working each day... The rooms we so clean and we couldn’t fault them... Aircon was great, we even had to turn it off as it worked too well!... The buffet style set up was well presented and staff were constantly bringing out fresh food... The pool was absolutely spotless and the owner was seen daily completing checks on the pool... Having travelled to the Caribbean earlier in the year to what was advertised as 5* I can honestly say the pool here was to a much higher standard I could not fault the area... Plenty of sun loungers and shade for my toddler to play... The location is great for the bus route we traveled to rhodes town, lindos and faliraki with the bus stop being right outside the door step... Yes the all inclusive does end at 10:30 however that is clearly stated and there is a supermarket next door for anything additional you may need... We had a brilliant week thanks again to the staff for their hard work...

...The hotel rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and beds changed every other day... The beds were fairly comfy but the main thing was it was clean... The swimming pool and sun lounger area was spacious with enough beds and inflatables to enjoy in the pool which was kept lovely and clean... Breakfast was probably the most edible out of what was on offer... The photos of the hotel could also do with updating as parts of it dont look like in the photos and what the hotel has to offer is in need of amending as is misleading about entertainment etc that is on offer...

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this family run hotel... Starting with the pros: • The drinks at both the poolside bar and dining area are great • Cocktails are nice and potent with a large variety, at no extra cost until past 10:30PM • There were more than enough sunbeds when we stayed for the number of guests however your mileage may vary depending on the time of year and school holidays... • Rooms were decent with a mini-fridge and great aircon • The hotel's relation to larger towns on the island is great with Lindos and Rhodes town both a 1hr bus ride away... The faliraki water park is also very close by... • Buses come regularly and are easy to access as well as good value, however, they are often very crowded... • Afandou Beach is a short walk away and has some of the clearest water I have seen with sunbeds at a decent price of 10€ for two... • The staff are very helpful and friendly with a special thanks to Ilios the night manager and Ilias the evening bartender... • The pool is great to cool off in and is almost never too busy Cons: • Food variety and labeling is poor... • The showers in the rooms definitely only fit one person in at a squeeze • Evening entertainment is non-existent bar the live music on Sunday nights (Greek night), however, I understand this may not be financially viable for a small hotel...

Me and partner stayed here in July 2023, it was our first all inclusive holiday so we didn’t know what to expect, but it was an experience to say the least. Upon arriving we waited 20 minutes to check in and when finally some one did come it was a blonde lady who was incredibly rude and acted like it was inconsiderate for us to checking in, the rooms were clean and tidy, the shower flooded all the time and most morning the shower water was freezing, the air con was on and off... They had plenty of sunbeds but most of them were reserved by 10am... You’ll be able to have a coffee In breakfast but once you’ve left there, You can’t get a coffee until 10:30 as you aren’t allowed to take drinks out of the breakfast area to the pool area ... The swimming pool is quite small so once there’s a few people in there it’s full...

Falaraki isn’t far, can catch bus if needed, if you want some night life, if you want a holiday to lay by the pool Perfect, but if you want a adventure then perfect again The hotel is very quiet situated in the country, so you will need to hire a car if you want to get around, in which we did, the food is nice being all inclusive... This is our second time staying at this hotel, it’s such good value for what you get. We had two 2 bedroom family rooms next to the pool and they’re a very good size... They are cleaned daily and are left spotless... The meat was good quality and they sometimes had proper homemade chips on offer... The showers could do with being a bit larger and with a screen enclosure rather than a shower curtain - I can’t stand it touching me!... But the water was always a good temperature and decent pressure... Anyway, I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for somewhere clean, friendly, safe and very good value... It’s not that close to restaurants (about 10 minute walk either way brings you to one) but there’s a bus stop right outside that takes you to Faliraki, Rhodes town, Lindos etc... It’s perfect for a chilled out holiday in the sun...

They even ran out of water bottles one day ... our room lights kept flickering or not working at all, no plug in the sink to even boil the kettle to have a warm wash, or to even wash your clothes, as nowhere near a laundrette... There were a few nice places to eat up in the village, but a bit of a walk, but you could catch a bus if you wanted, our view was looking over a builders yard, the road outside is a very busy road and very noisy...

...Firstly with the positives: the rooms are functional and immaculately clean, the sheets and towels are beautifully white crisp and smell fresh... All of the public areas including the toilets were also clean and tidy... The pool, at first glance looks smaller then advertised, but more the meets with the needs of the baking weather, Billy the owner checks it several times a day making sure it’s chemically clean (and it really is)... Plenty of sun beds, even though some people feel the need to get up at silly o’clock to get the best ones (strange rituals the Brits seem to have adopted)... Bottled water is not covered by the all inclusive you have to pay for it!... The place needs some tweaking to make it a really great ‘all inclusive’ holiday the potential is there...

We stayed in September with Jet 2, got to the hotel 01:00 in the morning to be greeted by what we thought by the night porter but later found out he was a waiter in the restaurant, tried to check in but he held his hand up and had a conversation with the bus driver, when he finished he told us he had prepared us some sandwiches that he produced from under the counter (hot sweaty cheese and stale bread) and told us he had put water in the fridge and then said follow me a off we went, no offer to help with the cases ( we are both seniors) up the stairs, no lift and we were on the third floor, he took us the room and then proceeded to lecture us as to what we could and couldn't do with the air con and stood there wit his hand out for a tip, that didn't happen and he left with a torrent of abuse. Next morning breakfast was good, the best meal of the day we found out, the snacks in the pool bar was what pastries that were left from breakfast, evening meals were so repetitive, chicken, chips, spaghetti Bolognese (every night) and the lunch menu the same, the guy that checked as in upset so many people but they still let him carry on, all inclusive finished at 10:30 never know that before, apparently it's 800 mtrs to the beach, only if you can fly over a golf course and a dual carriageway, it's a taxi or get on the train, we had to eat out most days as the food was just appalling, the discriptiion of the place was from many years ago, there is no bar inside only the pool bar, rooms are very tiered as is the whole place, read the other reviews, anybody saying the food is great or that it's a lovely hote must be getting free holidays, never again.

NOT AS ADVERTISED! We arrived at the hotel at 12pm noone was around and we was waiting in reception for 10miniutes. The electric in our room was hit and miss our keycard didn't work, you had to balance it or the electric would flicker. We also had an issue with electric tripping regularly. The wifi was hit and miss we only had signal in a morning and couldnt get the wifi in the evening from our room. The rooms were clean but out dated. One of our beds was broken and had lats missing which resulted in the mattress falling through. The shower would flood the bathroom and the shower curtain was awful and would stick to you while in the shower. Plenty of hot water and was powerful. The pool area was nice and clean by you wouldnt expect anything else when there was only 20 of us in the hotel and no children. The allincluve drinks were good we couldn't fault that but the food was inedible. Alot of the food was reheated from lunch and served again at tea time. The hotel is around a 3O min walk to the beach good transport links as we was on a main road which was very noisy day and night with wagons and cars. The hotel is wrongly advertised by jet 2 as it is definatly not a 3 star more of a 2 star.

We stayed here for 10 nights at the end of September/ beginning of October. We were greeted very warmly by Ilios upon arrival even though it was late at night. We were given two bottles of water and sandwiches which was very much appreciated after our flight; Ilios even made a point to ask about any vegetarians (which I am) and made me a cheese sandwich rather than the others with ham. The staff here were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and there is so much on offer for the price we paid. Rooms have everything you could need and more and there was a variety of food offered at meal times. For example, there was a continental breakfast, cooked breakfast, cereals, jams, Greek yoghurt, fruit, cakes, Nutella, bread and rolls... and this was just breakfast time! This rival's some of the larger hotels I have stayed at. Rooms were cleaned every day, bar staff were always cheery and polite, Greek night was lovely... I honestly don't know why people have left bad reviews. For those moaning that there's no entertainment and that the hotel isnt near anything, read before you visit and it won't be a shock! Not all of us want tacky entertainment and it was nice enough just to sit and have a few drinks and play cards with my partner. There are bus stops on the doorstep of the hotel ready to take you to old town rhodes, lindos, faliraki etc. If we were to offer any constructive feedback, my partner said maybe the hotel might want to purchase some pool tables to occupy people- could also be a good little money maker for them? But that's just a suggestion if we were pushed for one. Ignore the bad reviews, such a shame that they tarnish all of the hard work and effort that is put into this hotel. Would definitely return.

My husband and I stayed for 10 Days in September. We arrived late at night. There was a problem with our booking- Not the hotels fault. They arranged an overnight stay next door and provided us with a lovely pool side room the next day. All staff very friendly and professional. The food was a bit indifferent for the first few days But not the end of the world. We always found something nice to eat. Then the food improved immensely and it was lovely. It would have been nice to have had a cold meat option as we had at breakfast at lunchtime as well

Check in after 10 at night. Given a sandwich in plastic wrap. Ham and cheese on hard brown bread with 2 bottles of water. Reception was rushed and there were only 2 couples to check in. Shown to room by a very disinterested front desk woman. Room a decent size. Overlooking pool. Kettle with teabags and pouches of Nescafé. Bathroom was very outdated. Had a wet room look to it with drain in floor. Realized why after shower as curtain does not keep water in and floods room. Shower wrap around curtain was disgusting- old and stuck to you ( and every other visitor to that room for years ) and felt gross. Cleaning staff was great but did not replenish tea, coffee , spoons or sugar. You have to buy bottle water from market for kettle otherwise you can carry cups of water from bar. But you have to do it before 10:30 because the bar is not all inclusive after then. But is open till 1am. ??? Obviously no one is at the bar past 11. The noise from the dual carriage way starts at 5ish. The doors are like paper. Every voice in hallway sounds like they are in the room with you. No offence to the people in hall as they are not screaming. Just talking. But the worst is the food. I have never seen such bad food and unappetizing display ever. Spaghetti every lunch and supper. Dried up. Chicken massacred with a cleaver - backbones, tiny pieces of chopped bird. Bizzare. A new “sauce” each night. Salad the same. That was edible. White rice with a different canned veg each night. Mushrooms swimming in oil. Mossaka , that one night, had pasta in it as filler ??? Trays of peppers stuffed with left over feta from salad bar. We ate out most nights. Breakfast was bearable. I ate mini croissants every day. Coffee was in a machine and tasted like chocolate and I drink black no sugar so could not drink. It was a cafeteria. Not a dining room. They didn’t even have easy lunches that most AI serve such as hamburgers or gyros . You helped yourself to drinks etc. Clients even scrapped their own plates. The noise was horrible. “Dining room” looked the same for all 3 meals. A cafeteria- no nice lighting or service at all in evening. No entertainment except for Greek nite on Sunday. We were there for 2 Sundays . Amy info you asked about touring around had to be interpreted by other clients as the English on front desk is not great. Lots of ants in room. They left a can of spray for us. When we were checking out , we were not even asked how we enjoyed our stay. There is a red flag.

Returned from a weeks family break at this lovely, traditional greek, family run hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean with fresh towels daily. Air conditioning was included, good mattresses and showers had great pressure. Staff are super helpful and always on hand for any queries. Pool and bar areas are lovely and the drinks choices are some of the best we've seen in all inclusive. Sunday greek night is great fun. We will definitely consider coming again!

Interesting family hotel. Very clean, comfortable beds and free air con. Lovely swimming pool (plenty of sunbeds), cleaned daily by Billy, a must see. Food hot and plentiful, large crevettes one evening very tasty. Fridge and kettle in your room with balcony to sit out on. On bus route to Rhodes old town and Lindos. Met lovely interesting people staying there, lots return yearly. Good value and we had relaxing interesting week stay. Greek night on a Sunday is fun.

The pool area was nicely presented and clean, the pool bar a little dated but again very clean. The 'restaurant' was always well presented and staff were friendly and attentive. The food was nothing more than edible at best and we're not fussy eaters. Very repetitive meals, always spaghetti Bolognese which looked like it'd been reheated every day we were there, a cross between hospital food and old style school dinners. Food poisoning waiting to happen was universally agreed amongst the guests!! The food was always luke warm and that was at the beginning of the opening times! The manager (I think) was less than welcoming, on arriving, he did carry up my suitcase but there was absolutely no warmth, we actually felt like we were putting him out by checking in! The room was small, dark and very dated although very clean, we were instructed on how to use the Aircon and left to it... The shower was revolting, grubby shower curtain around it and hit and miss whether the water was actually hot. the balcony looked out over a builders merchants. We spoke to our rep and she arranged to have our rooms changed, most people we spoke to over our stay had, had a room charge!! The room we were given was ground floor, clean, apart from another revolting shower curtain. The shower was the same standard as the previous room but even smaller. Our room was situated right next to, what can only be described as a dumping ground, gate wide open unless I closed it, there were broken Aircon units piled up, old sunbeds and broken play equipment which could have been a very dangerous situation for a child to wander in to as the gate was constantly left wide open. Early in the mornings we were woken by staff talking loudly while hanging out washing in the dumping ground. The outside area to our room was unusable due to a very overgrown apple tree, propped up by an old piece of guttering which caused the room to be very dark also. Overall there seems to be little care taken to ensure guests feel valued.

Worst hotel we have even stayed in on arrival at one in the morning was shown to our room honestly wanted to go back to the airport and go home again Shower took us back to forty years ago when foreign holidays first began a tray on the floor with a nylon curtain around it that when you washed water went all over the floor . Stains on the bed sheets ,a balcony with a view of grass at eye height and a walkway behind it with rubbish piled up Food... absolutely horrible spaghetti with sauce that looked like a cat had thrown it up, chicken nuggets you could build a dry stone wall with ,chicken in sauce well think it was chicken, fish and chips every dinner and tea salad withith no lettuce and for afters cake jelly and ice cream . Tea bags ....no English tea and when asked a manager was very abrupt and rude just snapped drink earl grey then as none on the island ,100 yards down the road a shop with Pg tips and Lipton's tea . All inclusive I don't think so we had to go out at night for something decent to eat . Please spend your money somewhere else
