Just spent a week at the Iris hotel. It was a very enjoyable week. Hotel was very clean. Great selection of food and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly. Its in a good location with bus stops at the end of the drive. Quiet and very relaxing. My only recommendation to them is to make the wifi free.

Stayed here for one week in early September. Have stayed in Afandou (but not The Iris) many times so knew exactly what to expect. Booked a private transfer from the airport and arrived after 20 minutes, check in was easy and was informed if I was hungry I should eat first before going to my room which I did. There...

This was the first time away with my boyfriend and it was fabulous. Hotel was spotless thanks to "Poppy non-stop" (which is what we called her). All staff were fantastic, in particular Alex who welcomed us on first night when we arrived and made us feel at home. Not sure where he disappeared to though :-( Food was lovely also...

As I say every time, if you want luxury this isn't the right hotel. Likewise with nighttime entertainment. However, if you're looking for something clean, affordable and very friendly then the Iris is the place to stay. Rooms are typically greek in that they're basic but clean. The hotel itself, which I've been to a good five or six times,...

Returned yesterday from 2 wks all inclusive at the Iris Hotel - I cannot praise this enough! It is perfectly located, 1000m (15/20min walk) from local long/quiet pebble beach (you will beach shoes-not sandals/flip flops, available locally 6-8. euros) 5 minutes from a large supermarket, 10/15 minutes walk from the village & the bus stop with good regular air conditioned...

Good holiday yet again, never gets boring. Hotel very clean, amazing staff and surroundings. Afandou amazing little village and the Greek night at mimakos is a must a short taxi ride away usually on tuesdays. Food had improved at hotel giving a good range for meat eaters and vegetarians, rooms spacious and cleaned daily amazing service for a decent price,...

Spent 10 days at the Iris Hotel with my mother and brother this September. Small and personal hotel, with very friendly staff. Nice views over the sea with sunrises revealing the mountains of Turkey to the west. There's a large supermarket 5 minutes walk from the hotel which is extremely convenient. The closest town for restaurants and bars is a...

it was a real nice hotel. If you are not planning to spend all of your holidays in the hotel, it will be the perfect selection. The hotel is not fancy, but you can find everything you need - tasty food, great pool area, drinks and friendly stuff. Of course, there is some shortcomings about the hotel: - the sea...
