If you decide to visit Europa-Park, this is a great choice of hotel. Its not fancy, but it is clean and affordable. It is 10 min walk to the front gate of Europa-Park and has free parking out the front. They let me keep the car there after check out so I was able to return after our last day in the park and get the car. The restaurant blow the hotel is one of the top rated restaurants in the area and we decided to have dinner there one night. The food is great and affordable, I would recommend eating there, though the food did take quite a while to come out, we were not in any rush and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was great as well. The table was filled with breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, coffee, juice, fruit salad, spreads, etc. But for the breakfast and dinner, Gasthof Altes Rathaus did not have any gluten free alternatives other than than the schnitzel I had was made gluten free which was great. I was staying with my children and we had a room with a double bed and bunk beds, it was very clean and had everything in it we needed. I would highly recommend Gasthof Altes Rathaus for your visit to Europa-Park and not staying in expensive resort hotels that are a nightmare to deal with.…
Superb hotel, great staff who made an excellent job of saving us from a dreadful place down the road. We needed three nights, they gave us a room for one night, and for the remaining two nights we had a luxurious apartment all at the price of a single room including a great breakfast. The Chef /owner is a brilliant cook. Best steak ever. Outdoor restaurant overlooking the river
Family room for 2 adults and 2 kids (double bed and bunk beds). Staff friendly and helpful. Room was cosy but ideal for a two night stay for a visit Europa park. Restaurant served good food in the evening in a nice quiet setting by the river. Free parking outside the hotel. Entrance to Europa Park is only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
We visited this hotel in Mid August - The Hotel is a few minutes walk from Europa Parc with the added benefit of free parking. The welcome was very good and all of the staff were very pleasant throughout our 2 days stay. The continental breakfast in the morning filled us up enough to keep us going until mid afternoon in the theme park. The family room on the top floor had separate sleeping areas (bunk beds for the kids) The shower was good and hot and we found it to be very clean. The beer garden to the rear was lovely and although we didn't actually eat there, the food looked really nice with good portions. We would definitely stay here again
My wife and I decided to visit Europa Park on the one weekend. Rust is known for 2 things: 1. Europa Park 2. More hotels / guest houses per square meter than one can count. Choosing the right one can be difficult. Our choice was this lovely hotel, the price was decent, rooms were super clean and the location was the biggest draw! Just 4 min walk from the park, enter a side gate and can miss the mass entry of people when parking gates open. Only negative was the small breakfast range, besides this it was a lovely place to stay.
