We truly enjoyed our stay at Les Roques Rouges. The hotel is very romantic and picturesque. The views are truly amazing from every angle. The terrace and dining room have an old world atmosphere quite unique. Our room was large, clean and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the sea. The rooms are simply furnished. The only caveat is that... This is one special place because of the location and the old world charm. The hotel is filled with atmosphere, history, mystic and beauty... and when you open your balcony doors, the view of the ocean and mountains and 'red rocks' of Piana is a knockout. This is Corsica. Easy parking on the premises. No elevator and you carry your own... More

The view is unique, the highest and most prominent viewpoint between Piana (beautiful small corsican village: 10 min walk) and Porto. Plenty and easy car parking. The ambiance is the luxury of another century: from the decor, to the way the food is presented and arranged (even the kid's menu!), fully inventive and merging the local ingredients with a high-class... Charming hotel, built in 1912 and keeping a lot from these times, great location placed in the mountains with breathtaking views on the seashore and rocks, very pleasant staff. One of the must when you are in the region.

A very nice and charming hotel overlooking the west coast. The hotel dates more than 100 years back, and that you can feel. Don't expect a slick modern american style hotel. But here you can feel Corsica. In the hotel a beautiful and excellent restaurant. In the neighbourhood, a 10' drive, is the excellent Cafe de la Plage.

Make no misstake this hotel is old and run down . The rooms are large and bare , bathrooms are minimal but functional , there is no airco but the beds are very comfortable . The floors squeek and the walls are paperthin . You are travelling back in time , but more in a Grand Budapest style than in... More

This is a grande old dame of a hotel. Spectacular location, fabulous seaviews from the french windows in our spacious room. Lovely aperitifs on the terrace and superb dinner in dining room overlooking the sea. Highly recommend. We did have to hike up two flights of steps to our room and I didn't see an elevator. Room was comfortable with... More

We spent one night in this old and beautiful hotel. Although a little out of date, this place is full of charm and character and perfectly located. It dominates the sea and offers a stunning view from the terrace and all the rooms facing the water. The rooms are a little outdated but clean and well equipped. The restaurant is... More

We stayed for three nights at this hotel and were totally enchanted by it. Judging by the previous reviews and talking to other residents most guests seem to end up on the third floor which is a bit of a drag. There are staff who are very willing to assist with carrying luggage but if you are sitting on the... More
