This hotel is amazing, at first when checked in I was apprehensive it appeared to be an old run down Chateau. Rooms were very clean and nice size, some only have a bathtub. Free wifi is not very fast, but the weekly rate is more than reasonable. Our room was not air conditioned. Was not a problem for us but... More

this castle is in a very peaceful town and has a beautiful garden and nice rooms with character (we stayed in an Egyptian styled room). However considering the price we were disappointed: our key was nowhere to be found when we arrived and we were put in another room (we had to insist for them to find the key and... More

We stayed at the Chateau for two nights. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were spacious and very nicely decorated. We had wonderful dinners in the Chateau and excellent breakfast. It was a great place to stay and do some site seeing in the lovely Loire Valley.

What a great history this renovated chateau with beautiful antiques lovingly selected! My granddaughter and I were welcomed so gracious by the owner even after being 3 hours late and missing our dinner reservations. Just driving though the gates that are next to the country church and Indre River. The ivy covered walls added to the beauty of the chateau.... More

We had a lovely quiet stay, the staffs are super nice and friendly. We are able to meet the owner of the Chateau while walking our dog and he was walking his too. In general it was a very pleasant stay but there are a few things that I feel can be improve on. - Even though internet is technically... More

Just stopped to waste an hour or too before going to Lascaux and wow! Such a brilliant place better than our Lascaux experience! The castle was fascinating and all the furnishings and info was great. They even supplied an English tour book to help (which Lascaux lacked). And they had a visiting torture exhibition which by 8yr old loved! Would... More

Stayed here for one night in the middle of October. We ended up being the only guests in the hotel that night since it was their off season and it was a weekday. Kind of creepy having an entire 18th century chateau to ourselves but a great experience and great story to tell! The staff was very accommodating and friendly.... More

Stayed here for a few days to see the Chateaux in the Loire Valley and, while the room was nice, I was very surprised to learn that one could have no food or drink in it. I found it outrageous that they expected guests to go to the "bar" for a glass of wine or a drink, rather than have... More

Located in beautiful French village of Reignac-sur-Indre this chateau has an interesting history. We slept in the bedroom of the Marquis de Lafayette with outdoor balcony overlooking the expansive front garden. A large room with comfortable king size bed, high ceiling, period furniture and furnishings. Large bathroom with huge bathtub and separate shower. Complimentary wifi in room. Please note checkin... Looks beautiful doesn't it but very pretentious as are most French Château's. We arrived early evening to find the place locked up and only after phoning were we allowed in. The room was up in the roof and the lift could take you up to the second floor but after that it was a winding narrow wooden staircase to the... More
