Clean, modern, suitably equipped rooms in the historic part of the hotel (said to have been a commanderie of the templars in the 13th century) which is situated 20 m from the pedestrian zone in the centre. Short-time parking (paid during the day) next to the building, for longer parking, you have to go outside the city walls, 300 m... More

We were given a two floor family room opposite the reception in an annex. It was clean and functional, and perfect for our requirements, don't go if you are looking for a period property with French decor and lots of ambience. However we had a charming balcony looking out onto the street. Perfect location. From the little interaction we had... More

Very rude people who just don't give a c**p about your stay. Was charged the highest price for a simple room with no view, no coffee maker and no shampoo/conditioner. Paying $128 nt should at least give you shampoo. Staff very unfriendly and when I asked to move rooms I was lied to. Telling me it was booked, when indeed... More

Very clean well priced room for 4. Love the architecture and friendly staff. Breakfast was additional but 138 euro was a great deal in this town location was very central and my Vinyard view in the morning was the best way to wake up! Modern clean rooms.

Not sure which was best, the hospitality and service by every staff member, the fellow visitors that were so friendly and engaging, or the most excellent room and breakfast. combining it all really made our trip to St. Emilion memorable. it is a tiny village wrapped around a "bowl" or coulee, filled with wineshops and cafes, all proud of their... We booked this hotel last minute as our travel to another part of France was limited due to flooding. And it turned out to be a great decision to stay at the Auberge de la Commanderie and Saint Emilion. Our room was up a flight of stone stairs and we were kindly helped with our luggage. The room was clean,... More

Beautiful, basic and spotlessly clean hotel in Saint Emilion. Really spacious rooms with shower, air conditioning and Tv's. €108 per night is s bargain. Matthew in the breakfast room is so polite and the breakfast with boiled eggs is really nice.

The Auberge is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. Good location (the Cordeliers tour, next door to the Auberge is worth taking). Easy walk to the tourist office and the monolith church. The breakfast was good.

St. Emilion is a walking village and the Inn is at the heart of everything. The rooms are comfortable and recently renovated. Our room had a view out back overlooking a small vineyard and the countryside. The Inn still retains it's historic charm. It was a treat to have egg for breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there... More

This hotel is perfectly located. Within just a few minutes of all the best bits of St. Emilion. The parking was just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. In SE this is close. In a beautiful pedestrian friendly 'village' this is close. The drive into SE and to the hotel was clearly signposted. Reception were efficient and walked... More
