Catherine is a lovely lady who is flexible and helpful at every stage of your communication. The Chateau is very nicely done and very comfortable. The neighbouring town of St Emilion is quite beautiful - a decent walk across the vineyards brings you into quite one of the loveliest towns I have visited in France. The vineyards and chateaux in... Imagine waking up in a beautiful old French bed, comfortable and refreshed to the aroma of freshly baked patisserie and throwing open the shutters onto vines that stretch as far as the eyes can see. Then, after a refreshing shower, walking down to the cosy breakfast room with open fire warming inviting you to sit and pour a lovely cup... More

We spent two nights here in June. We could not fault anything. Lovely bedroom beautifully furnished and large shower room with everything you could need. Catherine is a charming and perfect host. There if you need her, producing a fantastic breakfast and supplying much advice and ideas if asked. She was exceptionally kind when my son and his wife (who... More

This was undoubtedly the best room of our trip and probably many more trips to follow. The room itself is very spacious and has everything you could need while breakfast is perfect with great yogurts, freshly cooked local pastries, croissants. Add to that the lovely walk through the vines to get to Saint Emilion and the guidance and help in... More

We spent two nights here and enjoyed our stay. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom modern. I liked the tile work in the bathroom. Catherine seems to have thought of everything a guess could want. Catherine is a very nice person. One morning her granddaughter helped her serve breakfast. I enjoyed walking in the vineyards but I would... More

Chateau Franc Pourret was a perfect place to stay and explore St-Emilion, just a short walk through the vineyards into the beautiful old town, and Catherine the owner is a lovely genuine person who looked after us with just the right amount of attentiveness. Breakfasts were fresh and different every day (clafoutis, apple tart, citrus tart, warm croissant, homemade jams... More

Beautiful Chateau! Our room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was perfect with coffee, tea, home cooked crossants, jams, and our favorite the canneles de Bordeaux! Catherine was a wonderful hostess and very accommodating. Would definitely come back and stay next visit to Saint Emillion.

Wonderful chateau! 2 night stay exploring St. Emilio's and Bordeaux. We loved the location in a vineyard which we strolled with a glass of wine- made us feel like we were in the middle of wine making! There are 2 guest suites which are large and beautifully appointed. The bathrooms also large with great shower and modern amenities! There is... More

We loved St Emilion and our stay at Chateau Franc-Pourret. Catherine was a marvelous hostess. Our room was large and comfortable. Vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see in every direction. I bought three bottles of Chateau Franc-Pourret wine and am enjoying it immensely as I write this.

I did not expect the charm and hospitality encountered. A must when visiting Saint Emillion. The hostess serves an excellent breakfast. The rooms, with views, are superbly appointed and comfortable. We loved our all too brief visit. What more can I say.
