I give this place a 3 out of 5 only because the gentleman at the front desk was nice, the room was clean and the wifi worked fine, and the bed was comfortable. Other than that, I don't plan to stay here again. Price was a bit high for a sadly neglected old motel from the 50's when you could... More

This is a low priced hotel, a short distance from the village limits of Wellsville. It is on the highway (non-interstate) going east of town. It is also across the road from a big factory, but it was quiet; the factory does not run at night, and there isn't much truck traffic. The rooms are a little Spartan, but good... More

This hotels pictures and looks from the outside is very deceiving. It is very inviting and the managers are very humble. We had 7 rooms for 6 nights. yes, it needs a little work but i am sure the more business they have, they will do that.given the chance we all would stay there again. The rooms are huge, the... More

Face it. There is only one angle you can take when reviewing a place like this: Price. And this is about the lowest you will find for accommodations near the Main street of Wellsville. It might be a little off putting at first with its brightly lit sign with red lettering and the starkness of the immediate area (creepy swedish... More

It was very clean, bright large rooms, very friendly staff. Our family of 3 stayed for 3 nights. We had the 'family' room. It was spacious with a great open space for our 4.5 year old to play. I suspect this would work for a larger family as well - 2 double beds with pull-out couch, which we didn't use.Large... More

Not much to look at, but big room, clean, and cheap. Wireless available. 2 mi. away from town for anything, but easy in and out. Not many choices around Wellsville. Check in at 1PM is convenient, but checking in late is a pain cuz you gotta wake up family. No record of my on-line reservation. Don't accept AmEx.

Nothing special, but the room was clean. good sized rooms. The motel probably comes from a time when NY Rt 417 was the main road west before NY 17(now I-86) was built in the mid 1960s. Up until maybe 5-8 years ago, this was known as Cook's Motel. Decent price.

Room was large but dated. Felt like I went back to the 60's. Room was clean. Had no problems. TV was small. This is a motel.

I stayed with three of my children in the room with two beds and fold out couch. I didn't mind the old decor (the picture makes the room like nicer than it is), but the room smelled like animals or mold. I couldn't tell what the smell was, but I woke up wheezing from an asthma flair up. If you... More
