We showed up late to Punta del Diablo, without a place to stay and thankfully Posada Rocamar had a room. The building exterior screamed artsy beach shack; the wooden paths which led to the rooms were softly lit. The room was very simple, with a little porch facing out to the street. I did find it odd that the only chair in the room was a bean bag chair. I hadn't seen one of those since the 90s and I don't think the hotel decorator was even trying to be ironic. There was a large TV too, which seemed incongruous with the whole bohemian beach vibe.

We had just enough time to make it to dinner in the charming, pint-sized, candlelit restaurant where we had a fantastic spinach ravioli in a tomato cream sauce followed by dulce de leche crepes. We also drank a nice Uruguayan red from La Pedrera.

Breakfast however was a pretty big letdown. The options were few (white bread, corn bread, ham, cheese, watered down orange juice) and what they had ran out quickly. The internet...
