Very basic room. Not very modern but it is clean and in the perfect location, a minute walk to a massive grocery store called Superfoods, 13 minute walk to Eagle beach, Pizza Hut/PF Changs/Olive Garden/Taco Bell and other non-chain restaurants all within 15 minute walk. You have a full fridge and the kitchenette is tiny. You are told not to put toilet paper in the toilet but rather in the garbage. Not very hygienic but maybe that’s the way plumbing is in Aruba at a smaller hotel…not sure.

I really like the courtyard and pool area. It’s nice and quiet there. Not too many people either.

The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of service on Sundays. If you run into trouble there is nobody at the front desk to help you. What if someone steals your things while you are at the beach in the water? What if you lose the card to get into your room? It happens! There is nobody to help you, nobody to give you a replacement card! There is a WhatsApp # posted on the gate but it is only for specified hours. There should be some sort of 24 hour help 7 days a week for guests staying there. They really need to address this!

I would stay here again. It’s a good price in a great location. I felt safe the entire time as there is a lot of traffic from the supermarket across the street. If you want something simple and clean at a good price then this is the hotel for you.

Hello! Thank You for taking time to share your experience. We are glad you liked the location and the cleanliness, as the patio and the pool area. There is no frills but it's comfortable and there is all the necessary to enjoy during the stay. About the toilet paper it's the way plumbing is in Aruba, but there is cleaning service every day except on Sundays, so the plastic bag is changed every day. Otherwise, the toilet will clog definitely, and that's worse... We are not a hotel, so there is no reception 24 hours, office is open 8.30 am- 6.00 pm and it's specified that the office is closed on Sunday, and there is no cleaning. That doesn't mean that if the guest has an emergency or something important happens, there won't be any assistance. The whatsapp phone at the door is on after office hours until late (manager also needs to sleep). If there was a fire, the alarm immediately notifies the firefighters, if there was a security problem, we would also know about it. And the apartment's telephone is enabled to call 911. Fortunately, during your stay, no one had an emergency as such, everyone was very calm, enjoying their vacation. It was a pleasure hosting you, hope to see you again. Regards Sasaki Apartments.

We are familiar with the area having stayed at the Tropicana (now Eagle Aruba) and picked the Sasaki Apts for our 3 week vacation for its location.
Great staff, efficient and friendly. Rooms cleaned and trash emptied daily, towels replaced when you want. There is no housekeeping on Sundays (get clean towels on Saturday) except if there are check-ins or outs then Hector comes by to provide towels. The pool is very clean, several lounge chairs however only 4 shade huts.
But there is a shaded sitting area between both apt buildings. They offer 2 grills but charged $10 per use(a bit excessive, although they do clean it after every use). The security gate is key activated at night and on Sundays/holidays (when office is closed). Pedro (the owner) is around a lot and over Christmas he gave the staff a small party, gifts and time off.
Super Foods and a Pharmacy is next door for convenience. There's also a liquor store inside & a café/coffee shop.
It's about a 10 min walk to Eagle beach. You should get there early to get a hut.
New Years in Aruba is wonderful.

Their staff was 5 stars. They were accommodating, fresh towels daily, rooms cleaned and beds made daily, garbage and bathrooms cleaned daily, it was great for an apt and not a full service hotel. Pool for kids to wash off and play in. Convenient location to high rises and low rises. Nothing is far in Aruba, but close to all the action. Casino 5 minute walk away with craps, BJ, three card, and slots.
The room and price was great, we paid $1800 for two weeks over Christmas and New Years. Security gate with key card needed for entry. Location was awesome, 10 minute walk to Eagle Beach (beautiful, but not our favorite!). Fridge was big enough to hold foods and drinks, freeze water jugs at night. No dishwasher, but we did minimal cooking (breakfasts). $5 charge if you ask staff to wash dishes. $10 to use the propane grills, kind sucks to pay each time but $10 to cook was much cheaper than any restaurant nears the hotels or Oranjestad. There is a large grocery immediately across the street, Super Foods. Pricey, but very convenient.

The apt was comfy. Two big beds, one pull out couch, TV, bathroom, shower, and small kitchen. Things broken or not working though. Lights not working, cabinets lose in places. This was the general grounds as well, some lights around the pools not working too. No service at night, didn't need any but could be daunting if you lost your key (I honestly don't know what you'd do, I guess wait til AM?)

Hello! Thank You for your review, hope to see you soon again... Notes: about lights that didn't work, or broken things, when guest inform us at the office we take care of it inmediately; about the service at night, as apartment we don't have 24 hours service like hotels, but there is always a cel phone number posted at the door in case of any emergency. About the keyes, we aware always all the guests about it, guests know that the office is closed at night. We are glad you enjoyed the island, Eagle Beach and surroundings... Thank You for stay with us!

Apartment was nice and clean, located in a gated area directly across from Supermarket which was super convenient. Hold on to your key as you need this to enter the complex and office hours are a little odd. Housekeeping did a good job at cleaning and replacing towels. They will give you beach towel with $15 deposit. Ice machine on site to fill up your coolers. Rooms have a small kitchen area with full size fridge/freezer, microwave, stovetop, however no oven. Pool area was pretty. About a 10 minute walk to the beach through the Eagle Resort. There’s a small alleyway (pics below) that you have to walk through to get to eagle resort...I wouldn’t take the walk alone at night. Older lady at the front desk wasn’t to friendly or accommodating in holding my luggage on the last day... was told office will close at 2 (posted sign said 6). Didn’t even thank us for staying. Maybe she was having a bad day. Overall the stay was very nice, and I would recommend.

This was a quiet, clean place. While the view from this hotel was probably better before the huge supermarket was built right across the road, it really makes things convenient for guests. The store sells just about everything you can imagine, and even serves hot breakfasts at decent prices. This makes the hotel's location even more convenient (as it's located just a short walk from a dazzlingly beautiful beach). Our room was spacious even tho it was evidently one of the smaller ones. The management is clearly on top of how things are run, but they have their oddities -- their office closes earlier than most and it appears that they have not posted any instructions for guests about who to contact in case of emergency. Even tho nothing went wrong during our stay, this hands-off approach wasn't reassuring. Recommendation: bring an extra towel with you.

Thank You for your feedback! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for letting us know that I enjoyed the stay, and that the room was to your liking regarding cleanliness and location. About the office hour, as an apartment complex we don't have 24 hours front desk like the hotels, but it is published on the web sites, and at our office door there is a phone number everybody can reach us in case of any emergency, and when guests check-in after office hours special instructions are sent in order to get the key from the lock box outside, that's why we ask for information about arrival time at the moment of reservation. We provide bath towels and they are changed every day, the beach towels are provided but with a refundable deposit at the office. Thank You for you comments, Sasaki Apartments.

This place is excellent. If you don’t want to stay in those overpriced hotels by Palm Beach, then this is your place. It’s located right next to one of the biggest supermarkets in Aruba which they sell you everything, from breakfast to dinner, liquor store and even a pharmacy right next to it. If you don’t mind walking, each beach is like 10 minutes away, but if you rent a car, which I recommend, is even closer. This place is also super clean, I stayed there for a week and never saw any bugs.

We stayed here for our final 4 nights on the island and enjoyed ourselves. Room was kinda no frills, but clean with good HK service. Excellent location just opposite the supermarket and only 10mins walk from Eagle Beach. The manager (I think) was very friendly and helped us store luggage on our last day. Swimming pool deserted most of the time so great for the family to splash around and make as much noise as we wanted. Great value for money, would definitely come again!

Sasaki is a wonderful home away from home. I had to be in Aruba for a family emergency (I am an Aruban living in Europe) and I felt instantly at home because of the hospitality and personal attention of Pedro and his wife, Rita and her team. Isabel took my schedule into account when cleaning and was always very helpful. My king size bed was really comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped for home cooking. I had early mornings and nights and could relax and enjoy some quiet time at Sasaki after a busy day. The breathtaking Aruban beach is at 7 mins walking distance away, just as Superfood, Casa and even a hairdresser if needed; all facilities right at my doorstep. As a woman on my own I felt safe and secure, even though there is no reception in the evening. I stayed for 3 weeks and it was a very pleasant experience - I will definitely return. Masha danki pa tur cos y te otro biaha!
