We stayed here in December 2024 and after reading some concerning reviews I was a little apprehensive about what to expect! We were pleasantly surprised and delighted at how good this place really was. None of the poor reviews we had read were correct from our point of view. Room was neat, clean and good size. Very comfortable beds and linens were regularly changed without asking. Clean towels every day. Beach towels were also provided every day and loungers were provided at the beach compliments of the resort. Any small issues we had were addressed promptly. Good laundry facilities. Well appointed kitchenette with good supply of glass ware etc. Poolside loungers and pool very good. Restaurant was excellent with great service. All staff on site were very helpful and friendly.
Would highly recommend this place we had a thoroughly enjoyable time here. This is our 2nd time at this resort and would definitely stay here again.

While a decent place to stay, I'm disappointed in the declining physical status, poor WIFI indoors, unattended pool bar except happy hour, with huge timeshare revenue incoming not reinvested. We've been coming here for 22+ years and slowly seen the decay set in from old furniture still in use, minimal remodeling or upgrades - just maintenance patchwork. It feels that it is being run into the ground and when too costly, will be torn down. I'd like to think otherwise and see some plans for future major renovation in this 35 year old gem. No activities posted for the weekly event or discussed at check-in. Front desk doesn't have much on details. During a 2 week stay, the linen wasn't changed mid-week until requested several times. A saving grace is the staff is friendly and accommodating. Two pools on the property, one more family oriented than the other. It is North central located and will require a car rental or taxis if you want more than Moomba and Palm beach. Environment is safe and secure enough. There is a small fitness gym overlooking the pool that is stocked fairly well. Grills located at each end of the property for those wanting to use the kitchen and dine in. Pool towels refreshed daily and can be used outside the property. Unsupervised lounge chairs at Moomba beach are hard to acquire and find as many others use them since not watched over. The front desk staff has no or little comment on this issue. The price is less but so should be expectations.

The apartment we had, although a little old, had everything we needed for a good stay. I thought it was quite appropriate to have two bathrooms.
The common areas are good for having a pleasant time, although they are not close to the beaches, they facilitate your transfer through mobility in which they take you and return you in two schedules, morning and afternoon, they provide you with chairs in the same beach and you can bring towels too.
The hotel restaurant is good and so is their service, although they don't have room service you can order it to go. The bar is also well stocked and its prices are in line with quality - price.
If there was something to improve, it would be to renew its furniture, that is, modernize it a little.
The staff's attention is good, they are very friendly from the reception staff to the service staff.

If you're committed to staying only at one of the "name" resorts in Aruba, don't bother reading any further. We've been timeshare owners at CPVR for 20 years, and couldn't be more satisfied. First, it's a great upgraded facility with huge rooms, large pools, hot tubs, convenience store, restaurant and bars, rent-a-car desk, parking, etc. It's clean, secure, quiet, and with a responsive and caring staff. No, it's not on the beach, but when we want to brave those crowds, we just drive 5 minutes to whichever one we like (we prefer Eagle Beach). It's also an easy walk to fabulous restaurants, fast food, stores, and the "strip" near the big hotels. Second (and importantly), the "trading power" of these units is just as great as any of the big names. We've had no trouble trading for weeks all over the world, in some fabulous properties. And all this for a FRACTION of what you'll spend for a timeshare in one of the giant high rises. This is the best way to experience Aruba!

This is a fun little quiet resort off the main strip. The restaurant and swim up bar have delicious drinks and food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The jacuzzis are always warm and the pools are clean. This is a great place for young families and older adults. The iguana pool is a quiet spot to read a book and the other pool has a swim up bar with 2 happy hours during the day. The rooms have either a full or efficiency kitchen so you could buy groceries or heat up left overs. The resident iguana and Macaws are fun to interact with but don’t feed them. The Wi-Fi is a little lack luster but you’re on vacations, put your phones down, lol.

Arrived to first room (2 bedroom unit not like set up shown), in back corner of lot very unsafe. We requested new room and they switched us to new room over looking pool (again not like pictures shown) but better area. We noticed bugs, called office and were told was “rain bugs” and requested maintenance come spray, we came back from dinner to find a can of spray by door. There were more bugs when we entered, we sprayed (only in living room and kitchen) and went to bed. Woke up to being swarmed by termites. Went to office, they insisted it was just rain bugs, “it happens”. We showed them pictures. Didnt want to do anything. I called Jetblue vacations, as we booked through them, they called office and insisted we be moved as termites swarmed. Went back to office and they switched us to new room. Maintenance and head of house keeping showed up as we were packing to see what the fuss was. Maintenance head took one look at window were wood eaten away and says “those are termites”

New room was fine, not great. Room needs to be updated. Only saying grace was Nia at the pool bar, she was amazing. Resort did nothing to say we are sorry for what happen, really wanted to sweep under rug.

Be carful they will scam your kids at the bars for drinks. They will purposely wait the time out so instead of the kids drinks being six dollars for two they will charge you $10 apiece for the drinks. Also the dryers in the facility did not work right and you have to keep pumping tokens into them cost almost $20 in tokens to dry one load.

15 years and it just continues to be special. The staff and bartenders are very friendly. Still dated with many small painting projests that shouuld not be overlooked. Attention to detail would improve the overall appearance. Comfy and clean rooms. The pool was beautiful and the water clear. There are more places being put up around us. (markets, dept store, places to eat) that make not renting a car not so painful. We had a large family that was there take over the pool near easter and it discourage the older guests from going in the water. Security was notified and they made on the spot corrections when needed. (Just wish the parents did). I still recommend renting a car if you are their for a week or more. it will be cheaper than caps. Go to the Highrises or town for excitement, people , and noise. Come home the the CPV for peace.

When we checked in there was Black Mold on the bathroom shower ceiling. This bathroom was connected to our bedroom. They did not offer us another room they simply came in to clean it. Unfortunately the cleaning was inadequate and the Black Mold returned during our stay!! We were told the only person in a supervisory capacity was the housekeeping manager; who had no authority beyond cleaning!! We were provided no compensation, no accommodation or contact from corporate regarding the resort Black Mold! Beware avoid this resort Black Mold is a danger to your health!!!
