We are just finishing a five week stay at the Hod Hamidbar Resort and Spa Hotel. The hotel management and staff are very friendly and have become like family to us. This is our third visit over the last three years and we are planning on returning again next year. 1. It is an extremely well managed hotel and the... More

We stayed for one night. Rolled into town at 1500 check in, got settled and went down to the spa, picked up towels from the automated machine and went down to wade, bathe in the Dead Sea. The hotel was nice and comfortable. It appears to be a favorite among Russian speakers. I recommend paying for dinner with the room.... More

It was a short vacation, mainly for treatment with Dead Sea minerals. The great advantage of this hotel is an orientation for such kind of customers: the beach is very close to hotel (no need to cross any traffic road) and in addition there are covered pools with mineral water and sulfur salts (besides other SPA services) - free of... We spent there two nights with friends during last weekend. Rooms were ok,but not so spacy and with only side view to the sea. We went to the pool and spa as we arrived in the late afternoon, but it was so crowded that we went back to the rooms for a nap .The pool was too noisy and unacceptably... More

The room was good, clean and a good size for two people. Direct access to the dead sea was great to float around and get a few pictures, but there were, as to be expected, a huge amount of people and a constant fight over the limited amount of sun loungers which spoilt the peacefulness of the area. The indoor... More

Great Hotel right on the dead sea. The buffet is something else :-) One of the best I have had. Quality, good sized rooms and Eddie (from South Africa) was awesome in reception- very helpful to us Aussies.

The hotel spa was recommenced for a day at the dead sea. The location was good but that was about it. The buffet lunch was ok until a huge group of kids arrived and.... need I say more? The parking is across the street and you have to pay. The spa area took a 50 NIS deposit for a locker... More

The lobby is quite nice, but don't let that fool you! The whole hotel needs some serious remodeling. The rooms are dark and smell musty. Our bathrooms had mold in the tub. I realize you are at the Dead Sea, but WOW! Bathrobes are included in the rooms for use at the pool and sea area. As we walked thru... More
