Some B&B's are like mini-hotels, but Barb and Tom Merrill have truly opened their home to their guests. Guests have the main part of the house, and the Merrills live on the lower level--so if anything goes awry, you know where to find them. Our room was lovely and clean, clean, clean. It was upstairs and to the right (sorry,... More

We stayed at the Echo for a weekend away and had a great time. Barb and Tom we so friendly and helpful. They had info on all the things in the area that you may want to do . Barb gave us some great advice on when to visit the State Park to avoid the crowds and told us about... More

The Echoes of the Glen was a friendly, welcoming home away from home for the three days we spent in the Finger Lakes region. The house itself is comfortable and inviting, surrounded by a beautiful flower and vegetable garden. Our room was cozy, with plenty of room to store our clothes and stash our suitcases in the closet. Every last... More

This is a very nice, clean, and friendly B&B in the Finger Lakes. Barb and Tom know the area and are very willing to help out. The food is excellent and they even take into account patrons' allergies. The wine tour package price is unbeatable and Frank is the best driver!

My husband and I made a last minute decision to visit Watkins Glen. Echoes of the Glen Bed & Breakfast had only one room available for the two nights we would be staying. We were the lucky ones to find this gem! The room and common areas were VERY clean and comfortable. And the breakfasts were DELICIOUS--fresh fruit, homemade pastries,... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while attending SCCA races, hiking the Glen, and visiting the local restaurants and wineries. Barb and Tom are the perfect hosts. The B&B is well located, only one block from the entrance to the State Park on the town's main street. While our room was small, it was adequate;the bed was... More

We had a wonderful time at this B&B in Watkins Glen. It was very clean. The hosts were very gracious. It was centrally located. We could walk anywhere in Watkins Glen, especially the park. It was literally right down the street. Even though the house was located on a busy street, we didn't hear the traffic. We really enjoyed our... More

Spent two nights with Tom and Barbara at this B & B. We stayed in the Rose Room--beautiful antiques, private bath. Breakfasts are delicious...three or more courses, with an endless supply of coffee and good conversation. Both Tom and Barbara are well versed on activities to do and see in the area: the gorge, restaurants, vineyards and wineries. They provided... More

We stayed two nights at this lovely B&B. The hosts Tom and Barbara are very pleasant. We stayed in the Chardonnay room located on the second floor. The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated . The only thing I would of liked somewhere in the room or bathroom would of been a full length mirror. There is one in... More

We were travelling from Niagara Falls to Penn and decided to see the Finger Lakes region. We chose Watkins Glen for the Falls, knowing nothing else about the area. We couldn't have been more lucky. This B&B is a block from the park entrance. We walked to the park and it was fabulous. Except for the wineries, we walked everywhere.... More
