Restaurant was very good, had dinner twice tasting menu very good. Menu of the day good. On our second visit I must complement the staff. Very patient and efficient with a large party including children. Well done. We stayed for one night. The apartment was dated... 1970's not retro clique just old. The bathrooms are sub standard. Very poor really.... More

... make this hotel special. the grounds are immaculately kept and, together with the swimming pool and tennis court, lend a sense of luxury. We were allocated a balcony room at the front of the hotel which has been refurbished and must have had air-con as it was beautifully cool in the 35C heat, although we could not find evidence... We were staying in the area, having arrived on Bastille Day and most places were closed. Our host suggested we try des 7 Molles (millstones), what a result! A stylish restaurant in a beautiful setting, a lovely welcome, very good service and a wonderful meal. So good we went back again the next evening. The four of us had the... More

We stayed here for one night towards the middle of a two week trip to Spain and France and of the twelve hotels we stayed in we found this the most difficult hotel to review. We were the only guests which rather detracted from the atmosphere but the hotel is attractive and in a very quiet location. The gardens were... More

The owner is hands on and sets a high standard. Beautiful dining rooms, clean swimming pool, charming bedrooms, and cool high tech TV to watch Le Tour. Nice cycling area. Look at the guest book for famous cycling team photos and autographs. We also visited the UNESCO world heritage site nearby: Saint Bertrand. This is a historical Roman and Christian... More

We have stayed in this hotel twice in the past month, and I would live here if I could. It has character and a style all its own. Madame, the owner, is ever-present and no doubt her attention to detail accounts for the exceptional quality of everything from the excellent service to the perfectly appointed rooms. The setting is sublime:... More

This hotel tucked away in the Pyrenees has well kept gardens and swimming pool. The décor is a mixed bag. We had a large double bedroom which had two bathrooms but only one WC. The mini bar was located in one of the bathrooms. The food was good. The bar service was very slow.

We were not really looking forward to staying here as we had booked two gites with a night gap and had had to find somewhere to stay for one night. With 5 children we certainly weren't going to eat in the restaurant or have 14 euro a head breakfast. But the hotel was delightful, charming service, seriously eclectic refurbished rooms... More

This hotel really is "lost in France". The location is close to St.Gaudens but very much in a lovely rural and peaceful setting. The gardens are lovely and we liked the hotel decor. So why a mixed bag? Well firstly because we booked it because of its swimming pool. We arrive hot and sweaty to be told that the swimming... More

Not sure how you would ever find this place without SatNav/GPS! Suitably encouraged by the warm welcome from Madame (très sympa), we went on to enjoy our one night stay very much - and to resolve to return one day and spend more time to enjoy the beautiful gardens, swimming pool, tennis court and surrounding countryside. Quite magical. The décor... More
