My first choice hotel was closed so I decided to splurge at the Bellevue. The owner was really lovely and helpful. The room was a triple so it was a little bigger than usual. The balcony was great with full river views but it may be impractical due to being in full sun. The bed was so comfortable, with the... More

My wife and I spent 2 days, demi pension. The room had a great view of the Lot, bath and shower. It was not the most expensive room but it was fine. The dinners were really excellent - not having a choice was a bonus. Excellent value!

This was last hotel we stayed in at the end of a 4 week trip through Europe. Definitely one of the nicest hotels we visited. Incredibly beautiful village, spectacular views from the hotel and our room. Room very spacious, good bathroom, other amenities. Very nice dinner and good breakfast, extremely helpful, charming staff, with a very personal approach, great humor... More

Have had dinner previously, wonderful view of setting sun over the river Lot. Stopped for lunch, early June, quite a few lunchers in situ and looked forward to relaxing lunch. Took a little time to be seated and receive menu's. Ordered a drink and had to ask for menu - went to order and was told by waitress -" I'm... More

A really gorgeous property! We did not stay at the hotel (we stayed in a small centuries old fisherman's cottage down in the town), however we were so impressed with our first meal at their restaurant that we returned on several occasions to enjoy both the wonderful quality of the Michelin level restaurant (plus many other awards) and the stunning... We visited this hotel during a road trip on the preconceptions it was a beautiful spot where we could have a nice meal and spend the night. On arrival we were met by a 'creepy' host who didn't mention anything regarding dinner service. Later, after exploring the very small town we returned to the hotel to book a table for... More

I stayed at the hotel for the weekend to attend a wedding that was local. At first I was worried about the check in time (5pm) but I arrived at about 3 and it wasn't an issue whatsoever. The room was identical to the pictures and the view from the balcony was spectacular. It was extremely clean with quite a... More

I stayed here for two nights in a room overlooking the river. Dinner both nights was excellent. The service very good and the owner and her staff were most helpful. They speak English, French and one other language. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Every year we come to Puy L'Eveque and every year we visit this restaurant. My friend is vegetarian so we always prebook and let them know in advance that one person in the party is vegetarian. Usually they make an effort and prepare something special. But not this year, my friend was offered for main course an omelette with mushrooms,... More
