Enjoo Lodge is nestled in the bush with a beautiful pond near its community area. The staff were gentle, kind, and helpful. The tall gentleman, who hung around the communal area, possibly the assistant manager, was nice and attentive. The two men in our group had a great time attempting to fish at the pond. We enjoyed the fireplace at night and staring at the stars. I slept well here and the room/bathroom was clean. I loved the outdoor showers and I actually liked not having signal here - talk about freedom! We did manage to get a bit of signal in our room (I think 7), which was the farthest away from the main lodge, to send important messages as needed. We enjoyed our stay here and we could've stayed longer! We were happy to see lions, leopards, topi, the Uganda cob, the Crested Crane, and other animals at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Plus, it's home to the famous tree-climbing lions, which to much sadness, one of the staff members informed as that the lion population is declining here due to migration to DRC and poaching. All in all, we would stay here and tell our friends about it. Note: no wifi, no signal, monkeys hang around, you are to be walking to/from your room, you need mosquito repellent…
Incredible, beautiful, tasteful and very well organised lodge. All places are clean and beautifully designed. Just perfect for us having stayed there with our 3 children. The team is very helpful and doing utmost for an unforgettable experience. 1 major pity for us is not having stayed longer at the Enjojo Lodge. Quality of food, accommodation and customer service is just perfect. Heads up to the whole team! We will come back!
Despite the global Covid pandemic and low number of people travelling, Enjojo lodge was open, clean and ready to receive tourists. We had the chance to be upgraded in a wonderful self-contained cottage, while we had only booked a tent. That was very much appreciated! The staff, like anywhere else in Uganda, was very professionnal, kind and friendly. The food was very good, and the view from the restaurant area is beautiful! Excellent location too, only 10 minutes driving from the Ishasha Game Drive area (even if we were desappointed by the low level of game inside Queen Elizabeth Park. Not much to see after 3 hours inside the Park!) Certainly a lodge that I would have no hesitation in recommending!
We had an 11 days staff familiarization trip last month including a one night stay at Enjojo Lodge. The location of the lodge is quiet, surrounded by a forest and swamp which makes the entire surroundings serene. The cottages are cozy and comfortable with an outside shower facing the forest. The staff were outstanding in their service, very fast, welcoming and helpful at all times. We were served with delicious food and enough for everyone. Generally, we had a fantastic stay!
Enjojo Lodge is a very peaceful place with very friendly people working here to welcome you. The food is great. The owner is great. You will definitely enjoy here. Good starting point to do a game drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
