My friend and I popped in for a few drinks during our Northern Loop drive of Ishasha and had a lovely relaxing time at this beautiful property. It is very natural, yet has wifi (which is handy if you camp in the park). It is obviously set in a national park and has its limitations and therefore should not be... More

The Banda we had was good, beds comfortable as was the shower room. That's where it stopped. The generator went off at 10 ( even at budget accommodation in Bwindi, the generator went off at 11). The lighting to the Banda was almost non existent and no torch was provided. We had to rush to get to bed and it... More

Very nice owner and staff : It was very late evening, we were lost in the park, our car was broken with almost no gas left, and we were tired and stressed. Luckly the owner and his staff were here to welcome us, help us and provide a very nice accomodation ! Thanks !! I recommend this lodge to anyone... More

We only stayed here for one night thank goodness and were the only residents. The stilted tent was lovely and we were surrounded by wildlife and a short walk to the river was fine but there was very little drinks selction, the restaurant was so dark as no lights and we could hardly see what we were eating (which I... Stayed here after a long drive from Lake Mburo NP. I was welcomed by Betty who was amazing - as they say, a person can either make or break your experience/stay! Shortly after my arrival, I realized that I was the only guest for the night which I so appreciated. It was quiet and not another loud evening (created by... More

I had looked at this place when passing and decided to try it as an alternative to the costly Wilderness Lodge. The booking went through OK and so we arrived. It had been raining off and on and they can't be blamed for that. However we were told only one of the booked Stilted Tents was available for the first... More

even in the worst rains the welcome from Betty and her staff was great, we spent just one night in this wondeful campsite on the river Ntungwe in the Ishasha plain but we'll be back soon and for a longer wonderfil stay! thanks Betty!

This was our only mistake during our wonderful trip :( We were a bit concerned before we left home but our tour operator assured us it would be fine for one night. It was a dump. The entrance was like going into a swamp, it was wet and gloomy. Reception was a damp open sided hut and as for our... More

I guess the approach through grass and mud didn't help. The road was blocked so we couldn't leave again for a game drive. The tent we were brought to was moldy and old. We requested an upgrade to a tent/chalet on stilts - cost of upgrade $60. Base cost was $120 so total of $180 was way too high for... More

Stayed here for one night in sept 2011. We felt so welcome. The shower was really nice and warm and the tents spacious. As a vegetarian I was delighted with the delicous dinner, the best I had on my trip in Uganda! We were lucky to see 6 tree climbing lions, 2 of them within 30 min. drive from the... More
