By no means amazing but a solid choice for one night stopover in Zanzibar. Staff was very friendly. Disappointing was the lack of a nice beach. For longer stays would have picked a more beautiful location but for a short stay this one worked well and we had no complaints
The Park Hyatt Zanzibar far exceeds any expectations you might have. The service, the people, the food in the Dining Room and Beach House are incredible. The staff is amazing especially Nelson, Reception and Dining. The Managers always check on you. Taryn made us feel like Royalty. She was so attentive to our needs and taught us so much. She is a true value added member. Park Hyatt is a MUST in Zanzibar
Beautiful hotel on the beach. Rooms are spectacular. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food wasn’t very good at hotel TBH. The chicken and club sandwich not good. However the restaurant boat house which they own down the street is amazing. Such great food. I’ll return soon!
I had such a fantastic time from the moment I walked in till I left. The hotel itself is gorgeous, they've made beautiful use of the space, but the real clincher is the friendly staff - from Kidawa, Fauzi, Bahari and Edna - to so many others who always had a smile and a greeting, it really lifts your spirits. I was lucky to be upgraded to a suite, which was very indulgent and great size for a family with kids. The room is fitted with everything you need - from comfy couches, TV's in both rooms, water, fruit, you name it. I did have breakfast on both days - the buffet is large and has a nice selection of local food (curries, bread, vegetables and meat) and the usual cereals, eggs to order, sausages, bacon, etc. The pool - so so gorgeous! A great place to watch the sunset. I visited the spa during my stay - such a good decision - Rennelly is a magician! She is such a good therapist and I left the spa feeling completely rejuvenated. The hotel itself is right at the edge of the land, so it looks out on the water, and is next to other big hotels so it is a very, very safe area. This will now be my happy place in Zanzibar :)…
I have been a frequent guest of the Park Hyatt Stone Town since the late 2019 time frame. This hotel never disappoints! The service is always exceptional and the rooms always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is hard to beat - I definitely recommend the Zanzibar poached eggs! Nancy and Grace are wonderful and have always accommodated any request I've made both for my personal travel and professional visits! The Park Hyatt Zanzibar is truly a gem!
