Love this place. Everything is great - the service, rooms (aircon - yay!), location and the coffee is off the hook! They even make a delicious cake for my man and I because they knew it was our honeymoon!

Lovely high ceilings, lots of stylistic details and touches. Breakfast on the quiet rooftop was lovely. Great to have a welcome coffee in the downstairs cafe which would be a great place to rest and read for a while. Really interesting to see how the space has been used in the building - quite tight spaces have been used cleverly...

Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Stone Town - perfect for exploring on foot. Quirky antique decor with old coffee machines dotted around the place. The bathroom was amazing. The breakfast on the rooftop was my favourite in 2 months in Tanzania - Lovely homemade breads, chutneys, yoghurt, fruit etc.

Iwent to this shop with a group of Tanzanian friend. It was truly impressive the decor here. Very unique. A bed in the coffee shop? I couldn't imagine it before. The owner must be very funny, hilarious.

Loved the themed rooms and breakfast on the roof top. If you get a chance to view the other themed rooms you'll be surprised how beautifully decorated and unique every room is. The breakfast is delicious. Great location as well for shopping at the spice market, and concerts at the fortress.

The coffee house is a wonderful, quaint small hotel in the heart of Stone Town with a whole lot of character. From the complimentary drinks upon arrival to the kindness of the staff and delicious complimentary breakfast in the morning, this place can't be beat. The bathroom of my friend and I's room was in the hallway, but still private...

Excellent location for visits to historical sites, hard to reach by car. Coffee, baked goods and breakfast at the rooftop are great. Staff extremley friendly, helpful and hospitable. Manager helped to organise a trip and transfer to the Eastcoast, which we found very helpful. The rooms are very basic but clean with lovely colonial style beds each furbished with a...

We stayed at the Coffee House in Stone Town for one night - while I do not have experience with any other hotels in town, I would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms are clean and quiet, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the kitchen serves delicious food. It is centrally located, and if you ever get lost...

The Coffee House is located in the heart of old Stone Town, in one of the narrow streets that cars can't use (but plenty of motorbikes). The ground floor is a coffee house, and it's top barista has a certificate proclaiming her status as the top barista of Tanzania in a competition. It goes without saying, that the place serves...
