This hotel above a coffee shop (where they serve great coffee and lunch) is nice. We had a suite and payed a bit extra for it. The room was nice but the bathroom was really bad. For more than $100 per night you expect a decent shower. The location however is great. In the middle of all the tiny streets...

Went there by myself to have a break from the busy streets of Stone Town. It is a very nice place. It is quiet and very comfy just the place you need to relax in a city like Stone Town. I had a vegetable chapati wrap which was delicious and a passion fruit juice which was delicious too. Then a...

Positive: Location, smiling staff, rooftop terrace Negative: outside bathroom, no view from the room The morning breakfast was a bit poor in choice but the setting was relaxing, eating on a rooftop with a nice morning breeze is a great way to start the day. What really made us forget about the over priced rooms and the fact that the bathroom...

My stay in the Zanzibar Coffee House was excellent! I booked a single room, which was really nice. (Privat bathroom on the floor, which was quite modern) Amazing and friendly staff. Very clean room and well placed interior, which makes the places very special. The location is perfect for walking tours and is also nearby the big market (plus daladala...

My Mum and I stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. It is relaxed, homely and comfortable, and well located for exploring Stone Town. It's a lovely old building and the rooms are really comfortable and clean. The best thing is the staff - they were so kind and helpful throughout our stay and really made us feel...

Great selection of breakfast while on the roof overlooking Stonetown. Friendly staff. Awesome coffee. AC. Walked to the ferry terminal. Walked to the ocean. Loved the pizza. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.

My stay at the Zanzabar coffeehouse was truly fantastic. Everything from the service, to the room, to the breakfast on the roof was great. I had friends staying at other hotels in stone town, and I think that my experience was better!

We spent 4 nights at the Zanzibar Coffee House and enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The staff were wonderful! We arrived in Zanzibar by air at 1AM and arranged airport pickup with the Coffee House. I didn't want to have to "discuss" fares with a taxi driver at that hour. The pickup went perfectly. We didn't get up...

We stayed two nights at the coffee house and enjoyed it a lot. It's well located in Stone town, it's very cosy and clean. We loved the rooftop area which offers a great view of stone town and delicious breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.
