Spent almost a week at the Serena hôtel in Zanzibar, and had an amazing stay. This place is full of magic and history. You feel out of the time. Such an authentic place with a great location, facing the sea with a beautiful pool and in the best part of Stone Town. Streets around are super cute. Also you are near by Prison Island and Nakupemda Island and so many others and can just take a boat front of the Serena. The workers at the Serena are so nice and very careful about clients. Best service in Zanzibar for sure. You will feel like home. AC is perfectly working and silent in the rooms. Beds are confortables. Food was also great. Can’t wait to come back !
Spent two nights there recently. We chose it for its great location within Stone Town and its beautiful rooms. It was all very correct and uneventful. Breakfast was a disappointment though, no buffet and very average cuisine. We also felt that the ushers were a bit overbearing and intruding, they would keep making comments about our sleeping schedules and asking endlessly about our program for the day.
Enjoyed the property location. But I can't thank Zena enough at reception. We initially struggled to get our PCR results and it came down to 2 hours before Departure time. Zena came to the rescue litterly for 2 days chasing after our results with every possible mean. I would visit the property again just to stop by and thank her. A true angel in zanzibar.
Charming hotel with exceptional and professional service, friendly staff and excellent cuisine. Thanks to Yusuf we were able to explore all hidden corners of Stone town. And as for the restaurant the staff they are just amazing and they are good at creating great atmosphere for guests.
We stayed there last week for a couple of nights. It is located very close to many locations in stonetown we wanted to visit. The hotel was nice and the service was good. we liked the view of the ocean and the beach is nice if you wanted to use it. we spent time around the pool and the beer was cold and the food was good
