This is a great location with views over the rooftops of Stone Town and also to the harbour. Good for a sunset dinner.. Service was friendly but a bit slow as is the custom in Zanzibar we found. Food was good and my wife's kingfish meal was very tasty. Only complain was a very restrictive drinks menu. they had no...

What a beautiful Zanzibar building. and a great roof top bar/restaurant and serving alcohol! We didn't stay in the hotel, just the rooftop restaurant. We all had great food, but the steak was very tough, so we asked for a new steak, but they just brought back the old steak.... booh. On our instructions, they didn't charge us for the...

Great location in Stone Town. Each room/suite is different and interestingly decorated with artefacts and photos. No cookie cutter rooms here. The style is similar to the Riads of Morocco and shows Zanzibar's strong links to Oman. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is a tucked away gem. The whole hotel is very clean yet a fantastic dated decor, the rooms are outstanding and this is one of the quietest hotels for a fantastic nights sleep. Rosemary was outstanding even before we arrived with her help in arranging the booking and Donna was extremely helpful during our stay. This trip is...

One couldn't ask for a better location in the heart of Stonetown. From the moment you step into the reception area, guests feel genuinely welcomed. We also dined in the rooftop restaurant several times and food was very good. We want to compliment the entire staff on their helpfulness and personal care. First, we had to make several date changes...

Absolutely amazing food, especially the lentil curry! The view from the roof top where you eat is amazing! Very cozy and romantic place! Good service but it took a while before the food came. Doesn't matter when the view and surrounding is so nice!

We had lunch at this nice Spot. The restaurant is on the roof top with a nice view. The service was really good and the food tasty. A good place to rest from walking through Stonetown to eat or only drink something.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were very attentive on arrival and throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites which had a roof top bath, two flat screen TV's and all the facilities we needed. Whilst we were there we also looked at the other rooms available and I wouldn't of been disappointed if I had...

Thankyou for the lovely stay! Such a beautiful setting - loved every single detail in our room. The unique architecture and beautifully crafted wood work all around the hotel has a very zanzibari style, which was an experience in itself! Even though the hotel was fully booked at the time of our stay, staff was extremely friendly and at our...
