Hiliki House is a charming place with a rustic feel. We spent two nights and would happily have spent more. The manager was very helpful with planning our time in Stone Town and the woman who brought us breakfast and maintained our room was delightful. When she realized my wife didn't eat eggs she provided extra crepes without being asked.... More

Perfect situation, a few minutes away from the the sometimes busy streets of the centre Wonderfully quiet. Calm environment with beautiful, comfortable airy rooms and a lounge/relax area with good wifi. The perfect base from which to explore the fascinating streets and excellent restaurants of Stone Town. Hosted by the wonderful Aboud for whom nothing is too much trouble. Our... More

We just love this place. It's just outside of the hustling and bustling center of stonetown at a quiet place at Victoria park. The rooms are well equipped with a good shower and breakfast is wonderful. The manager is present all the time and can tell you everything. Truly, a home away from home.

Hello We spend tree nights in this place. The manager was helping us for all our need with the Zanzibar happiness! The orange marmalade of the breakfast was so good, the bread as well and this is do important for French people. The street is quiet and for sure close to the city center. So your turn to enjoy!

Myself and my husband stayed here as part of our honeymoon and really loved this place. Aboud, the manager was so kind and very helpful, going beyond that of most other managers. Always willing to help out and the driver (taxi) whose I don't remember so so sweet and friendly. The rest of the staff were also very lovely. We... More

Stayed here with my wife during a recent visit to Zanzibar. Our room was pretty standard. Good breakfast in the morning, but again not super special. Everyone working there was very nice. From the hotel, it is easy to get to the main shopping areas in StoneTown. Probably wouldn't stay here again as we found another place for about the... More

Don't believe the tortoise pictures....they're on prison island not at the hotel. It was good, comfortable, clean. Nothing special though. Breakfasts were as you would expect - fruit and eggs. Just a short walk into town to all of the main attractions.

I wanted a small, local hotel and Hiliki House fitted the bill. In Stonetown but away from the downtown area, it is a comfortable walking distance into town. The room was clean and comfortable, with two double beds, each with well-fitted mosquito nets. The separate bathroom was also clean. The shower was a little temperamental, and you have to wait... Completely lovely spot, and reasonably-priced. The room was immaculate and had a nice layout. It's not in the heart of Stone Town but really quite a nice location, quiet but still close to everything. The manager was warm and helpful.
