Nice hotel with a good location - although a little hard to find. (Narrow street so no car access) Food in the restaurant is good and staff friendly . The rooms are not big but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Very near to the food market and many attractions. If you head towards the food market/ sea you will find lots of local guides willing to take you on a walking tour of stonetown - we paid 15000tzs per person for about 1.5hr walk around Guide also organised a boat trip to prison island for us for 15$ per person ( not including the 4$ admission) well worth a visit - trip lasts about 3hrs

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel in Stone Town. It is not directly accessible by road, but staff and taxi drivers were helpful with luggage. Bed comfortable, but a lot of noise from the street and visiting party who believed they were the only people in the Hotel. The rooftop restaurant serves average food, below average breakfast, and dreadful Cappuccino. Only saviour to this place was Chris, the Duty Manager. Would not stay there again.

Loved our stay at this hotel - nice room, hot shower, food at the resteraunt was amazing (pasta). As we were leaving early they put our breakfast in a bag to take away. Only downside was when we paid for the room in dollars they didn’t have any notes to give us change. Also we booked a tour with them before we arrived which they seem to had forgotten about although we did end up going on the trip In the end. The cookies they left in your room before bed was a nice touch.

The layout of this hotel is great and the roof top restaurant is fantastic. The food there was tasty. Our room was nice and our shower was hot. We had an early get up to go to the airport for a trip to Arusha and the hotel made us a breakfast bag to take away with us. This was very helpful and nice of them. But when we arrived at 2.15pm our room wasn’t ready. But the hotel allowed us to go to a different room for a shower as we had prison island tour booked for 3pm. Again this was helpful. The staff just seemed very slow throughout our stay and everything just seemed to take a while to sort out. Great for a short stay though
