The lodge is situated on top of the hill and the view to the area is spectacular. By car it takes around 30-40 minutes to reach the park entrance. The guides and the conditions of the cars are totally okay. The lodges itselfs are clean and have everything you need. Of course you'll not get the luxury like in some...

Seemingly in the middle of nowhere but once there it's marvelous. Perched high on a hillside overlooking Ruaha NP. We arrived late in the afternoon after a tiring 10-hour drive, Emanuel, the manager, and the staff were waiting for us with cool moistened towelettes and delicious cold hibiscus and honey tea. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the park with a...

The personal service we received was excellent throughout our stay here and the food was good and personal requirement were always met. The bandas were good but some concerns over security, but very good location for visit to Ruaha National Park and wildlife was seen around the lodge.

We travelled to Tanzania with a fantastic local agency Nyasi Adventure who recommended this lodge. It it owned by locals from the area. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and happy. It felt very homely and we felt really well looked after. There is a lovely communal lounge/dining area and verandah with stunning panoramic views of the landscape...

The Lodge is beautiful, the rooms are clean, the staff very friendly and the food delicious. It's near the Ruaha national park, the park is great and we saw a lot of animals. It's a long journey from Dar to Ruaha (2 days), but it's worth it.

Firstly the positives. The views are spectacular. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly and the food was good. However the huts are very dated and in need of updating. The bathrooms in particular were in very poor condition with broken fixtures and cracked tiles. We had three huts for three nights. The first night one hut had no...

The organisation was great, the food was mouthwatering and the rooms were excellent as well. Thank you very much for the wonderful time! The Mikumisafafrilodge and the Mufindifarmlodge are also places you should definately visit, they are also of the same owner.

We arrived to a very warm welcome from all the staff. Once we'd had a cold beer we were shown to our huts . The huts are on the hillside and ours was one of the furthest but the staff carried our luggage all the way. What a fantastic view from the balcony in the bar area. We loved it...

I stayed at Ruaha Hilltop lodge two weeks ago with my family. I could not recommend this lodge more. Incredible views, food and accommodation. Alban, the owner was fantastic throughout our stay going above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The staff at the hotel were friendly and always helpful. The safari arranged though this hotel was...
