Your hosts are delightfully charming and care for their guests. As mentioned this is in a beautiful setting and the dining area, although extensive, has wonderful views across the river. The rooms are extremely spacious with grand views and the whole of the Lodge has been built in a very high quality. My guide was well accomplished and I learnt...

Our trip to Ruaha National Park was fantastic thanks to the staff at Ruaha River Lodge. Every person from management to the cooks and especially our safari ranger made our stay memorable. The accommodations are excellent, the food was delicious. Everyone was extremely friendly and seemed very interested in making sure our stay was going great. Our safari guide was...

Fantastic situated lodge in the Ruaha National Park in which we have seen all the Big Animals except The Rhino - but we saw a big group of Wild Dogs close to the river :-) We have visted the lodge and been in The Ruaha Nat Park several times from 1996-2012.

We were a party of five - three adults and two young teenagers. The accommodation was good (though we would have liked to see more use of sustainable energy - not a solar panel to be seen though there is some solar hot water), the staff were friendly and helpful, and the guide (Alex) was excellent. We were astonished at...

This review is long overdue and we wanted to say that this was the perfect venue for our wedding. It was the first wedding the lodge had ever organised and everything was great. The staff and management were extremely helpful and accommodating. We really appreciated the effort they all put into making us and our guests feel comfortable and welcome....

We did stay here after I wrote initially. We loved this place! Our cabin RIGHT ON THE RIVER was only the second one away from the main dining area but still felt private, especially at 10:30 p.m. when all the lights go off along with the generator every night. No lights but the stars and moon. Animals walked past along...

This lodge has a beautiful setting with spacious chalets on the Ruaha River bank. However such places are always a good a bad experience depending on the management and staff and the current managers Graeme and Candy Smith + Lewis are just delightful people who manage the place efficiently and smoothly but with warm smiles and welcome. The make the...

The location and the set up is fantastic, very naturally kept and well organized in terms of security, location, view from the room, staff and not forgetting the guide and driver (Kevin & Jimson) who took us for the game drive. The feeling of bush security by the great Masai was amazing. The dinning and lunch hall is a great place to meet...

It is a stunning lodge, constructed of river rock -- a one of a kind. Although it was the dry season, we saw lots of wildlife. The accommodations were wonderful, the food was fabulous and the staff very kind and considerate. We were taken very good care of. Finally, remember to generously compensate the staff for their service and your...
