We spent two wonderful nights at the camp. The owners were most welcoming and made us feel at home during all our stay. The owner,Dionysia, was very patient answering numerous questions from our curious 7-years-old. Our kids really enjoyed staying at Tandala, swimming in the pool, walking at night with masaai and having the breakfast under the trees. The rooms...

I spend a lot of time in Southern Tanzania with work and although I have stayed at a lot of lodges, camps and villas througout my many years there I can honestly say that Tandala is something very special! The owners, Yanni and Maddie (Dionysia) are amazing individuals who will do whatever they possibly can to ensure you have a...

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Tandala with a family of 5. Owners are great -- make you feel at home. Food and accommodations were wonderful. Dinner outside under the stars / sunrise from the balcony. And the animals on the game drives and viewed from the Camp were amazing. Located just outside of the park the game...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. Whilst just outside Ruaha National Park, the elephants were so often present around the camp waterhole, as were African wild dogs, baboon, leopard, giraffe and other animals. We were warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic, most of it grown on their own farm, even the...

I just had an amazing stay at this wonderful place - three nights wasn't long enough. The tents are spacious, clean and very comfortable, the showers are amazing, and the food is outstanding. It's obvious that Dionesia and Yanni are passionate about what they do. They went out of their way to make sure that every guest had their needs...

Your hosts, Maddie and Yanni, are the sort of people who really enjoy making guests feel at home. This is a small camp, and guests have the option of being alone or mingling with others. Maddie and Yanni have built a drinking trough less than 100m from the viewing bar, so in the dry season there is a constant stream...
