I recently returned from a 7-day safari with my 10-year old son and brother. We stayed at Isoitok camp for one night and all I can say is that I wish we had stayed longer! We loved everything about this special place. The tents are well-appointed, the food was good, the staff was wonderful, and the general atmosphere/ambience was warm...

Thanks so much taking the time to share your experience with others - it really captures each and everything we hope and trust that all guest leave with and what better way than with children as they take so much in and hold so many impressions that perhaps we miss as adults. I always refer to the traditions and culture...

Isoitok is beautiful located on a hillside overlooking the Great Rift Valley. Close to both Tarangire and Manyara, it's a great spot for visiting both these parks. Chris, the owner / manager, started off here with a project to help the Maasai community get access to safe water, so he has a wonderful relationship with the local community. And that's...

Thanks for taking the time to review Isoitok camp and i have to agree we are very fortunate to be where we are perched on the side of the losinmigori mountains giving us a birds eye view over the The Great Rift Valley and near By Lake Manyara which has been revealing herself as picture postcard mornings over March and...

We stayed here only one night, a real pity for this is heaven on earth. Sympatic and professional Joseph treats you as really special guests: he gave us so much service and attention this camp became a place we will never forget. The food is of a rare class so tasteful, the white wine is perfectly cold, and the location...

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst we visited Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater for our safari before heading to the Serengeti. The camp was lovely - nice bedroom and bathroom (although we just used the bush shower as this was ready to use and you have to order showers for the room). The evenings were great, a campfire and...

Excellent ambiance with very personal hospitality. The camp reflexes a very sympathetic view on tourism in Africa. Visiting a Masai boma here gives you a real insight in Masai live (contrary to the road side bomas in Ngorongoro)! A once in a live time experience!! Food in the camp and accomodation are good.

We set out for Isoitok Camp on the outskirts of Lake Manyara for a new years getaway. What a treat! Nestled in the hills of Manyara this stunning camp pops up out of no where! Excellent accommodation! Great food! The chef whipped up creme caramel for dessert that would take strips off any of the best restaurants in the world!...

This is a great camp and the staff are very attentive. The only negatives are they push for you to spend more on activities and tips and there is no mosquito net in the rooms. They claim you don't need this as they spray but the first night we had mosquitos in the room.

Thanks for taking the time to review us! and happy to read that your time at Isoitok lived up to what others have said about our little piece of bush haven in the heart of Maasai lands...the Maasai are now very happy as the short rains have delivered what they and their livestock have been waiting for - "water and...
