Spacious campsite on a great location with amazing views. Amenities are good, toilets in one building, showers in the other. Tent was clean. We thought the food was good and more than enough, both at diner and breakfast. Compared to other places we’ve stayed we haven’t always felt as welcome here. Saying ‘hi’ is free and shouldnt be too much to ask, also towards guides. The guard down the road and the Maasai guard were an exception. Also the system where you have to drop of a number at the guard to show you’ve paid felt like a lack of trust…sad thats its necessary for management to use this cause probably they’ve had experiences where people haven’t paid their bill. Even though prices are reasonable. All in all a beautiful place but it can gain points in customer service.

Room Tip: Bringing your own torch is nice to walk to the toilets/showers. You get a gaslamp.

We had a great time at Migombani Camp. The view from this camp over the Lake Manyara national park & the Rift Valley is amazing. The pool is nice and the whole camp has a lot of space with well maintained green grass. The tent and showers/toilets were clean and everything we needed. The big Baobab tree makes the place extra special. We would recommend this place; it is a great place to stay while enjoying fun activities in the area!

This camp is located in a beautiful location, where one could spend the day just by sitting and admiring the view. Tents were well kept, facilities were clean and warm water available. The young staff members were a tad glued to their phones, but very willing to help out. Previous reports of thefts from the tents seem to have been dealt with by adding a night time team of Masai guards, who appeared to be very alert all night long. Power was a bit intermittent, but was usually restored in a few minutes. Solar lights were available in the tents. If one does not mind the sometimes a bit loud banter of the tour guides cooking for their clients in the kitchen close to the tents then this place is ideal to enjoy and relax.

The camp is ideally located to visit Lake manyara national park. The camp is beautiful. We stayed in the cottage, not in the tents. The cottage was very nice. Only the electricity was not very reliable. When drying your hair the fuse always went out. The only downside was that the food was terrible. Breakfast and dinner was always very dry and tasteless. If the food and electricity could be improved this camp would be excellent.

The owners of this place did a very great job but they left out the customer service. This place is a great place with a beautiful view oversees Lake Manyara. We arrived at this place without booking and we were stopped by the moody lady with a rasta (NO A SINGLE SMILE, SHE WASN'T POLITE) and we didn't have a chance to sit down somewhere nice and get a welcome greeting but she came straight on the pathway right when we came from our car. Our guide(who was dressed up as Masai) was asked an instant question if he will go to sleep outside the village or stay there, She also stated to us that the place was full and nothing more. I was ready to move to another place we had in mind 'Manyara Secret' but Our guide was very nice and asked her for an option for us to come. In the end, she wanted to change our guide to 30 USD for camping. We ordered the food menu and she worked away and never came back to us. The lady at the front desk at the bar is very nice and smily (she is far nicer to check ing guests than that rasta girl). Hope the owners will work on this to save their hard work in creating this oasis.

The campsite is beautiful, clean and very good equipped. The view at the frontside is amazing. From our roof tent we had lake view. The staff is really nice. We ordered food, but didn’t know in advance, that they need 1,5 hours to prepare it. So simply order early enough. 😉 The shower has warm water, which was a nice variety to the campsites before. 😂 Here are a lot of small flies, which really embarassed us. But it‘s of course not the fault of camp staff/owners. The way from the main street up to the camp is adventurous. 😂

We stayed with friends for three nights and it was amazing. The view on Lake Manyara and the pool next to the bar ist something I've never seen before. Prices for drinks are cheap and the staff is very friendly. You can go for a lot of activities (Ngorrongoro, lake manyara, and so on) from this camp. Sunrise and sunset are worth to enjoy it at the Pool with a drink ;)

Our one-night stay at Migombani was comfortable, quiet, and absolutely peaceful after a long drive from the crater. The infinity pool was a sight for sore eyes and we all had fun dipping our feet in and enjoying the view. The bathrooms/toilets were communal (the only annoyance) but they were clean and well looked after. Our beds in the tent were comfortable and cozy. Wished we'd had stayed another night.

Migombani is one of the very good campsites you can stay in around the Manyara area. However not secure at all together with a combination of management who will not care of what happened after your belongings have been stolen, I won't recommend anyone to spend their night there! This happened to our clients in January 2022 and other guests who spent overnight at the campsite. Someone lurked into the camp during the night ripped off all the guests tents and stole every valuable they could find. The Camp manager was unable to assist even with the cctv systems available. The owner claims that this particular camera was disabled at that time! He was not able to compensate with anything even though the guards which they had were only to be found later after the incident. It is not the first case they have had and since the matter is handled so poorly who knows what could happen again, Luckily no one was hurt.
