We stopped for lunch on our way to Johannesburg. You can visit as a day visitor if you speak to the security guard on the gate. The menu was good and reasonably priced. The views from the terrace are spectacular.

Our stay at Little Switzerland was exactly the Drakensburg holiday we were hoping for. Our very first interaction with the staff at reception was super - they were warm and helpful, but most importantly sincere. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains and the beautiful gardens. The suite was in excellent condition and every need was catered for....

We stopped in at Little Switzerland during a road trip through the Northern Drakensberg and were delighted at this little piece of Heaven. The views from the resort are spectacular, the food is excellent, the service is outstanding and the prices are reasonable too. We can't wait to visit again!

Stayed there after reading the many reviews about the beautiful views from the chalet, unfortunately we could only see half of it, as the rest was blocked by a bush (see photo). Shower has no water pressure and takes ages to get the temperature right. Blankets are old and could do with a wash. On the positive side, the grounds...

On a scenic drive we decided to turn into Little Switzerland Hotel for coffee.. What a beautiful view from the deck. We ordered our drinks and asked for an iced tea alcohol free.. It came with alcohol???? Oh my??? The pizza we ordered was very good, thin pastry and tasty ... Worth the visit..

We stayed at Little Switzerland for two nights with our 8 month old baby and we absolutely loved it!! The views, the food, the staff, management, activities were exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make sure baby was catered for; I got bottles etc sterilized by the staff in their kitchens. Managers Tarryn (both of them) and...

Wow!!! My husband and I booked in for a weekend in Nov. We could find no fault- staff, food and facilities were fantastic. I requested food to be gluten free, with each meal the chef went out of his way too accommodate my dietary requirements. We enjoyed the outdoor activities, especially the hikes, and relaxing in the bar before dinner....

First off, we're high maintenance when it comes to food. My wife recently discovered she is gluten intolerant. Catering for a gluten intolerant person is no mean feat. We'll, Little Switzerland went out of their way to make sure she had gluten free meals. I really could not have asked them to do more. And the food was amazing. The...
