We stayed at Little Switzerland for two nights with our 8 month old baby and we absolutely loved it!! The views, the food, the staff, management, activities were exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make sure baby was catered for; I got bottles etc sterilized by the staff in their kitchens. Managers Tarryn (both of them) and...

Wow!!! My husband and I booked in for a weekend in Nov. We could find no fault- staff, food and facilities were fantastic. I requested food to be gluten free, with each meal the chef went out of his way too accommodate my dietary requirements. We enjoyed the outdoor activities, especially the hikes, and relaxing in the bar before dinner....

First off, we're high maintenance when it comes to food. My wife recently discovered she is gluten intolerant. Catering for a gluten intolerant person is no mean feat. We'll, Little Switzerland went out of their way to make sure she had gluten free meals. I really could not have asked them to do more. And the food was amazing. The...

I always enjoy my stay at Little Switzerland with its amazing views of the mountains! The rooms are spacious and sitting on the deck overlooking the bowling greens and inhaling the fresh smell after light rains is really invigorating. A number of zebras can be seen roaming around creating a peaceful atmosphere really friendly and helpful staff. The food is...

We had one breakfast and one supper at the hotel - were in a self-catering unit - food was excellent and value for money. Chalet had all...

Amazing drive from johannesburg to the qauint scenic valleys of the Drakensburg mountain to this beautiful hidden palace in nature, accomodation was spotless , food okay & friendly service, however on arrival we were sickened by the smell of marijuana as we approched our room where we saw a lady (obviously the culprit) that butted her cigarette and momenteously made...

This little piece of heaven was a dream come true. We actually went there in Oct 2013 for our 10th anniversary all the way from Cape Town to Durban then the Swiss mountain chalets. We were in the chalets, adjacent to the hotel. The view of the hotel was great and the hosts very friendly. They had this amazing little...

The chalets in Little Switzerland are in desperate needs of renovation. The interior is old and worn and does not justify the cost. The surrounding is still beautiful, but make sure you visit when warm so little indoor time is needed. Having said that, that staff are just wonderful - they are helpful, friendly and definitely go the extra mile.

I managed to get an Executive Suite with just a couple of day's notice - and am really pleased I did. We were able to connect with an industry associate and enjoy a very comfortable resort with great views. Food is good three star.
