Dear Mr. Abdelmoneim and Staff of the KEMPINSKI SEYCHELLES RESORT- Baie Lazare, We have stayed in the Hotel for our Honeymoon in August 2021 and have had a wonderful time! We are couple that travels a lot, we have seen lots of very high class to middle class hotels all around the world but we have never experienced such polite, friendly and committed hotel staff as in this resort. There are many beautiful Hotels around the world, but all beauty that doesn’t help if the service is no good. Places that stay in mind, do so, because of the People you have meet and the experiences you have made. So here we would like to share our experiences, point out and make sure people get the appreciation they deserve. About the Hotel in general: The resort is beautiful and very well kept, the room was always tidy, the Maids came twice a day and always checked for fresh towels and refilled the Nespresso Caps/Minibar. Unfortunately, when we arrived the reception was partly under construction, which was very noise for the first day, but later it didn’t bother us much. The constructions were going on very fast and so we had the chance to enjoy the new lounge and bar in the reception place at the end of our trip, it turned out beautiful, with a very inviting design and many lovely details. The Garden area and beach were also very well-kept and tidy, we loved the private beach place, there were always enough sunbeds and you could move them between the Plants and Palm trees to find some private space! We had breakfast and dinner included, both was very good. In the morning a fresh fruit bar and any kind of smoothies or coffees that you could think of where offered, in the evening there was a different theme every night and the local food was great. Lots of veg. and rice and fish, but also food like Pasta, Pizza and other things Kids might prefer. We also enjoyed the little “goodies” like Sushi, everyday fresh Fish and a big Salad Buffet. If you are open minded and don’t travel so far to only eat Pizza you will love this Buffet, we had something different every day, it was always tasty! All in all the Venue, Food and Garden areas were very satisfying and clean! About the Employees: Starting at the reception, where you would be always greeted with a great smile and fast service, waiters working not only fast but very friendly, often knowing what we wanted before we ordered it and even the staff working in the gardens or the beach would great us, ask for wishes, make sure we are enjoying our stay. Everybody working in this hotel was beyond friendly and professional during our stay, some People gave service doing much more than their job would usually require and these are the ones we would like to point out. Firstly, we would like talk out Noritha, the lovely always happy lady who would bring fresh bakery to the breakfast table every morning. Such a lovely personality making the start into the day even more of a joy! A shout-out to Marcus our waiter for the first few days, who would always joked around with us or answer our Questions about the Seychelles culture while being a great waiter. The Person we have been most impressed by was our main waiter Sher. Never have we had such an attentive and caring waiter, he might be the best service we ever experienced in a restaurant. Sher was very polite, fast in service and always with a smile on his face. He offered way more than his job would require and it stood out every evening. Even when other Guest were not behaving themselves, what is always sad to see for us and sometimes frustrating, Sher would keep clam and manage the situations in the most professional way. He always managed to give us the feeling he was “our personal waiter” even if he had lots of other guests to take care of (and give them the same feeling). It just seems like he understood what it means to do a perfect job working with guests and balance between always being there when needed but never giving the feeling of over-attention. We enjoyed great privacy as we were often the last guests to leave the restaurant and still experienced wonderful and caring service. Sher also stood out by the way he treated his Colleges, always a helping hand even if they were not working in his area. He should be defiantly considered for higher positions in the Hotel. Sher impressed us so much that we insisted on talking to the Manager, to make sure he sees the great potential in his staff. On our last Night we had the joy to meet Hany Abdelmoneim the General Manager, and after a few minutes it was clear to us that the staff had found a great leader to look up to. The manager was very friendly, clearly caring much about his employees and trying to create a “family” like environment to help employees develop their potential the best way possible. He and his lovely secretary listened carefully to our feedback and to the few improvement Ideas we had, it was a really nice talk with a well experienced Manager. The Stay in this hotel was a truly wonderful experience and made our honeymoon trip even more memorable. Thank you for having us, All the best and kind regards to the Team!

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed here 5 nights in December. Beautiful resort with lush green gardens, background of volcanic rocks and lake, stunning white sandy beach and well appointed rooms and lobby. Was picked up in a BMW at the Airport which was arranged by staff. Excellent Buffett breakfast and dinner which was the deal I went for. Had cocktails at the Planters Bar, tasted very good and good portion too. All staff very polite and helpful. Special mention to the cafe, pool and beach staff who were very attentive. And also to Irinini in reception who checked me out on last day. Covid test done on site was a breeze. Would definitely recommend. I didn't leave the resort during my stay as had everything here I wanted from my holiday. One suggestion for consideration perhaps, I was asked for a CC deposit for incidentals and full payment for room on first day. Maybe if everything was added on to bill and I settled on last day it would have felt easier somehow. Though the process followed was not a problem as such.

The Kempinski Resort is build in a very nice, quite, green location. It fit's naturally in the environment on how the build it and perfectly situated in the bay and beach. It's a very nice hotel with a very nice Lobby, Garden and Beach area. The garden and beach area are big, also very nice cleaned with a lot of different palm trees and other trees and bushes. We rented a Sea View room on the 1st floor with a nice balcony and a fantastic view on the beach. The room was very modern, good equipped, nice living area with big flat screen, modern bathroom and also with tea and coffee (Nespresso) option. The room was always very clean, thanks to the staff. The three restaurants are serving very good food, even in the Lazare with buffet you always find something you like. The staff here also did a good job to make dinner an event. A special thanks to Sheeka and Ginny :-). They have been always here for a chat, helped when help was needed and made the extra mile to make a dinner an event and not just eat some food. Overall the staff was always very nice, friendly, helpful including lobby and other services. Lastly I spent my birthday in the Kempinski during our 14 days stay. I have been surprised by Kempinski and some staff with singes and things I never expected. They made this day unforgettable for the rest of my life, many thanks. When coming back to Mahe, the Kempinski will be my 1st choice. If you plan to stay a couple of days then renting a car is a good idea to explore also the Island, what we did. You cannot get around by foot and Taxi's are quite expensive. Many thanks again to Kempinski and the staff for these unforgettable 2 weeks!!

Staying at the resort for an extended time with two small children (age 5 & 6) we had a fantastic time. Sticking out is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, who were all great with our boys. They both eg became good friends with the entire lifeguard crew, which showed them a lot of things, massively improved their swimming skills and were really, really outstanding. With the lifeguards close by we felt good about letting the kids run around the shore, the pool and the entire resort. The hotel also has a great kids club with interesting programs like kite-building, kite flying, baking (and eating) pizza etc., so the boys really liked to go there, giving us parents some time for ourselves. The food at the hotel restaurants is complementary for children (age 6 and below), which is great as you can “risk” ordering some healthy fresh food for a change. I would also like to mention the high hygiene standards in the middle of the pandemic. The entire staff was wearing masks, even outside, and the body temperatures of the guest was checked on a regular basis, like when going to the breakfast buffet. Everything is very well ventilated. There is a nurse on the premise and a pharmacy around the corner. So altogether we were being taken care of very well and felt save, especially about the children, who had a the time of their live at the Seychelles Kempinski Resort.
