Discover Seychelles’ best kept secret – a tropical amphitheatre of treetop villas circling the idyllic white smile of Mahé’s Petite Anse bay. Descend down lushly forested paths to the secluded powder-sand beach or rise to the dramatic heights of the contemporary spa, cantilevered off the hillside with views that stretch forever. The villa interiors are inspired by rustic Seychellois and French colonial style. Simple, whitewashed timber slat walls allow our carefully curated collection of objets d’art to sing. The verandah, day bed pavilion, and infinity plunge pool set off unencumbered views of tropical greenery, the white sand enclosed in the bay, and the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. With only 67 villas and suites raised on stilts amongst mango, jackfruit and cinnamon trees on a 180-hectare site nestled in the natural amphitheatre of Petite Anse, the resort is a haven of untouched nature and peaceful isolation. From castaway days to vibrant Creole nights, bask in the cultural and culinary essences of the Seychelles infused with legendary Four Seasons care.Treehouse villas have their own private infinity pool cleverly integrated into vast wooden terraces, indoor and outdoor showers and large ocean-view baths. Journey to wellness at the hilltop spa where yoga and invigorating treatments await. Relaxation next to the white powder sands and azure waters is taken to the next level by a beach service tailored to make your time in the warm Seychelles climate as comfortable as possible, while recreation activities bring fun and adventure to those looking to try something new. "Kids for All Seasons" will keep young guests entertained, allowing parents to spend private moments together.

The location is absolutely beautiful, best view on the island. Majority of the staff were very friendly . They need more water sports such as Jetski, wake boarding etc. I would also recommend for the resort to offer catamaran or yacht cruises - we had to travel to the other side of the island for our boat cruise. The best restaurant was Zez . Unfortunately the last day we had a negative interaction with a waitress named Keri . Our food took over 30 minutes to arrive & when we asked for her to check her response was “we’re busy” , then proceeded to tend to something else behind the bar with a co worker. Service is very important in remote islands like these . Keri also took our order incorrect , then when we asked for the incorrect item off the bill - she brought back the check , i said “Thank you” & she IGNORED me. It’s sad that was our last meal before departing back home because it left us upset leaving the resort . All in all, breathtaking views, my spa service was amazing, our hike with Shereen was definitely a highlight, but the Four Seasons must work on the speed, efficiency, & attitude of the service workers. Nonetheless, we will be coming back .

After 10 days of exploring La Digue and Praslin, we wrapped up our honeymoon with a stay at the Four Seasons on Mahé. It was a phenomenal choice. We booked the top category villa (serenity) and it was worth every cent. Our villa was at one of the highest points in the resort, with unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean. It was simply stunning, and made every moment that we spent in the room special. It was also extremely private — we were high above the access roads and only had one neighboring villa situated lower than us. The villa was tastefully decorated and spacious, and it sounds silly but we really appreciated the powerful AC system after spending 10 days in the tropics dealing with wimpy wall units. The beach area was just as impressive, with loungers and parasols lining beautiful Petite Anse. The weather is perfect in late April with almost no seaweed on the beach. Upon walking over to the beach area, someone will immediately set you up with your own loungers, towels, and a wooden case with complementary waters. Bar and food service was consistently and impressively attentive for being beachside. And ultimately, the level of service is what really left an impression at this hotel. Which is saying something, because the hard product is truly excellent. But the service we experienced here was just above and beyond. We used the Four Seasons app extensively, and there was literally no request that wasn’t met with a quick and friendly “we’d be delighted to”. We asked for room service from one of the restaurants instead of from the room service menu. “Of course! What would you like?” We ordered breakfast items at 8pm. “Not a problem!” We mentioned that we really liked the beach totes they provided to each room and asked if we could purchase one as a souvenir. “We will send a brand new one up to the room immediately, free of charge!” Buggies were always quickly summoned via the app, and one buggy driver in particular, Amade, was truly excellent. He always had an interesting story or great information about the local area to share, and we appreciated his hustle when gathering our luggage or just driving us around in general. One day as we headed down to the beach, we passed the GM Marcel who flagged our buggy down. During check in a few days back, I had mentioned in passing that I was dealing with a back injury. He had remembered this, and wanted to check in with me to make sure that I was able to get around the villa comfortably and didn’t need any extra assistance. It’s the little details like this, the actual investment in the guest’s experience, that demonstrates the difference between generic “luxury” hotels and those that are a cut above. I believe that Marcel has moved on to manage another property, but I hope that his influence here remains. On our final day, we had a late checkout at 4pm but our flight wasn’t until midnight, so I inquired about the possibility of checking out later in the evening. After a brief check, they graciously allowed us to stay in our room until our airport transfer was scheduled to pick us up that night. Obviously we were lucky that they happened to have spare capacity that day, but letting us stay in the room for essentially an entire extra day with no additional charge was incredibly generous. It made our last day / night in the Seychelles totally stress free, and I will not forget that. The hotel isn’t perfect — I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a Caesar salad from room service and both were poor quality. Am I an idiot for ordering those things in the Seychelles? Yes, quite possibly. But at these prices, there shouldn’t be anything on the menu that tastes like I got it from 7-11. Speaking of prices, one chocolate bar from the minibar will run you $25 - $30, and one special order of fried eggs (no sides, just the eggs) via room service clocked in at $31 before tax / service / tip. Pretty….aspirational, even for Seychelles prices. Just something to be aware of. Overall, we really could not have asked for a better way to wrap up our honeymoon. The room was absolutely stunning, and the service was emblematic of the fabled Four Seasons treatment. You have the best beach on the island right ant your door step. We were able to really relax and recharge during our stay here — thank you to the management team for making it a memorable one.

Where do we start. We spent a a week at the Four Seasons in Mahe, we are currently now at Raffles over in Praslin and this has just highlighted the different level Four Seasons is on. The service, the quality of the food, the relentless commitment to really make you feel welcome is unbelievable. The staff are fantastic... from the buggy drivers, to the restaurant staff to the security guards, I can't speak highly enough of them. The Food is literally fine dining every evening, no surcharges for anything on the menu, I can honestly say every meal was a pleasure eating, particularly the meat at steak Shack and the ZEZ restaurant. The only disappointment we have is that we had to come to Raffles after our stay at the Four Seasons, which now we are struggling with...but we will save that for the Raffles review. Even with a slight incident on our final evening, Joseph came to our villa and dealt with the situation expertly, I couldn't let that affect our thoughts about our stay, it would have been unfair. Obviously this isn't a cheap place to come, but it's worth every penny. Special shout outs to Colin, Emmanuel and Kevin, Four Seasons should be proud to have you. Cheers

We had a wonderful time at the Four Seasons Seychelles. From the moment we stepped in to check in to our check out, the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel had breathtaking views of the ocean and is truly a paradise location. The ocean view villas are the best and would highly recommend them. The property is quite big and you require a buggy to get to most places. They are available at all times and we could find one or call for one and they would arrive within minutes. The beach at the property is amazing and you would want to spend the whole day there. We enjoyed the beach and went snorkeling twice. You will be able to see some coral and fish and if you’re lucky a sea turtle. The restaurants at the hotel were all great and had great food. We especially enjoyed the Steak Shack and would recommend you to book a table during sunset. The breakfast area had amazing views and great options. The hotel also offers daily activities for the guests which was quite nice. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Four Seasons. Everything about this hotel was amazing. However, the food was outstanding and we really enjoyed all our meals while staying here. Especially breakfast at ZEZ, which was enjoyed with a fabulous view. Gamal was wonderful and really went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Also in the evenings, Kashi took us on a splendid 'wine tour' which was magical and really enhanced our dining experience.

I went to the Four Seasons Seychelles as the last stop on my honeymoon and was disappointed from the moment I arrived. My room, an ocean-view villa, hardly had a view of the ocean. You couldn't see the ocean from the plunge pool, bathtub or from the lounge chairs. Luckily, we were able to switch to another ocean view villa, however it took them 2 hours to make the switch for us. This room had a better view, but please note that any ocean view villa is what most would consider a "partial view." The next morning (our first full day), we called for a buggy to breakfast around 9am and had to wait 30 minutes, which is unacceptable. Throughout the rest of the stay, the service was inadequate, especially on the beach. It seemed like there was one waiter for the entire beach, so he hardly came around. To order food/drinks, we typically had to walk and find someone. Additionally, the food both at the beach, restaurants, and room service were CRAZY expensive. We ordered one burger for room service and it was 80 euros (including an automatic 10 euro fee for room service and an additional 10% service fee). We did have a couples massage at the spa, which was amazing. The staff there were very nice and attentive. Overall, while the Seychelles has beautiful beaches, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The villas are beautiful, however the rooms are extremely expensive and the quality of service is not up to the typical four seasons standards. I don't feel as though it was worth it given the price.
