We stayed 6 nights at Riad Tourtit, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was totally quiet and dark at night, with gorgeous mountain views. Tayeb and Lassen made us feel at home and were very welcoming. Tayeb arranged for transport for us from Marrakech to Imlil, and our driver took us to where the dirt path begins for the walk in to the riad. He had called ahead so that Lassen was waiting for us to carry our luggage for the 5 minute walk in on the trail, and dinner was waiting for us when we arrived at 9 PM. The house is only 3 years old, and has just 5 rooms. Our 2 rooms were beautiful, with finely plastered walls and nice rugs. The beds and the pillows were the best we have had on our 5 weeks of traveleing. The views out the windows are fabulous. The riad family will arrange hikes and treks; we went on a full day circuit hike through several villages, with Tayeb. He also directed us to other hikes that we could do on our own. One word of caution: The riad only accepts cash for payment. We had booked with credit cards through Booking.com, but they do not accept credit cards there. There is no bank or ATM in Imlil, so make sure you have enough cash with you.

I stayed here for a month in January/Febuary 2016.. I felt like i was part of the family. A very homely, comfortable Riad, with running hot water, speedy internet and an amazing view of mountains and the valley surrounding us. The owner and his son were more than helpful, with information, helping me arrange hikes and showing me around the neighboring and local villages. I never felt like a tourist in a strange land, more like a family member coming home to visit. This place is what good memories are made of.. thank you, you have a friend and a visitor for life..

We had a great stay at Riad Tourtit one day and night before we went trekking with Karima and Rashid. We left luggage we didnt need, and felt it was safe there. We had the best tangine in Marocco and the stay was totally wonderful. Clean and big rooms. Nice bathrooms and a wonderful private terrace with great views. The owner speaks english and was very helpful and friendly .We would love to go back!

We had booked the entire Riad . Felt like home . Its surrounded by walnut and cherry trees. You have to cross the river to get to the Riad. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms were clean the view from the terrace is pretty . and the owners are super helpful. They arranged out trek to toubkal . Also they let us make our own breakfast . Dinner is must have at this place best tagin and harisa soup we had during our stay in morocco . Good luck tayab Ibrahim and shabbir.

We stayed here for 2 nights while we were in Imlil. We were 9 adults and a child so we had the whole riad to us. This Riad has amazing view from every room & the terrace and it is surrounded by cherry, apple and walnut trees and the village on the other side. The breakfast is good, they let us make our own omelettes and Indian tea when we requested them. The dinner here was one of the best in Morocco, harira soup and chicken & beef tagine. This riad is about a year old and is super clean. The interior is really nice. The owners are really nice and helpful and speak english. All in all our stay here was very pleasant and highly recommend this place.

Riad Tourtit provided a perfect start to our trek up Toubkal. The owner went out of his way to provide all we needed, particularly with transfers to/from Marrakech. Food was super and we slept soundly as it was very quiet and comfortable.

We have just had a wonderful stay at Riad Tourtit Imlil. The Riad is very beautifully designed, the architecture and the features are very well considered and traditional. The riad has a sun terrace where you can sit with a glass of mint tea and watch the sun go down. The best thing is how peaceful the riad is. We also had meals there in the evening which were very tasty and huge! Walking tours can also be organised from the riad. Would highly recommend a stay here if travelling to the high atlas.
