He went the extra mile to make sure to cater for absolutely all our needs & requirements. Cooking team very professional while being friendly(Special thanks to Chef Zafir). Great welcoming team!! We booked the junior suite rooms and really enjoyed because they was spacious and comfortable. It was a luxury for us to have the sea view. And, last but not least the food was a 5* treat!!
Undeniably one of the best hotels in Mauritius! The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere with a friendly, caring and professional staff. Clean, spacious and cozy, my suite overlooked both the garden and the ocean. Regarding the Food & Beverage, I was impressed by the Tastevin which offered a wine tasting experience beyond expectations. Hats off to Sommelier Amith for his extensive knowledge on wine and for sharing his passion with dynamism and good humour. I highly recommend a wine tasting session. I was also delighted by the decor and the delicious cuisine at the Peruvian restaurant Inti. An authentic experience and a must for gourmets. A special note of thanks to the hotel staff for their professionalism, readiness to help and their positive attitude. I usually travel in January for my yearly holidays. As travel is not possible due to the pandemic, I decided to take the family for a break at Lux Grand Gaube. I always wanted to stay there; specially after it has been renovated. I did the perfect choice. Right from the checkin to get in the room, everything went smooth and quick. Caroline welcomed us with such a lovely smile and care. After a welcome drink & snack and signing some papers, we were guided to our room. Thanks to reservation team for the upgrade to Junior suite. The room is spacious with a view on Coin de mire. The buffet dinner was yummy. We travelled the world with the different menu: Indian, Chinese and Italian. Had to taste all of them. The restaurant staff was very attentive to our request. We enjoyed the heated pool. Nice idea of Lux to have it. The kids enjoyed a lot. The water activities are very interesting. The breakfast buffet is full of nice delicacies. The croissant and pain au chocolat were enjoyed by every one and specially the kids. What a nice idea to have ice cream included. This was the dessert after breakfast. The orange and passion ice cream are not to be missed. The Turkish restaurant Bodrum Blue is a must to try during your stay. The Pide as starter was delicious. Do have the Baklava with ice cream, the best I have ate in Mauritius. Sandeep, the front office manager, accepted my request for a late checkout as we did not want to end our holidays early. Thanks to him we managed to spend some more wonderful hours at Lux. I highly recommend this resort for it’s cleanliness, friendly staff, the calm atmosphere and the magnific view on the north of the island. Definitely will book another holidays soon at Lux Grand Gaube. …
Went to the hotel this WE and all the employees out there are marvelous. Very welcoming and friendly. A special note to the restaurant INTI : Food was awesome, the waiters were very nice & the Chef Zaafir is the best 😍. Thank you for giving us the opportunities to eat super good dishes 😋😋. 1000000% recommande!
