Our first time here. Very serene atmosphere and innovative hotel concept. Warm welcome. Friendly and courteous staff!Booked first floor apartment for two nights and extended our stay for another night. Well..we couldn't get enough of the tranquil atmosphere. Room was very clean and spacious. Complete kitchen amenities for a great self catering experience. Could not use the bathtub on the first night due to not so clean water. However, the next day, the water got back to being clear and clean. Some technical issues with the TVs. Room TV wasn't working at all. The wash basin pipe leaked and housekeeping was quick to have the issue taken care of. The view from room was great. Waking up to the chirping birds and the sound of the wind blowing across the premises was just what we needed for a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was delivered to our room everyday sharp on time and the lady delivering same offered to make our coffee/tea. The hotel gladly acceded to our request for a late checkout until 16hrs! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly come back here. Cheers!

We spent 9 days in a 2 bedroom apartment.
The overall experience was great with a little caveat: the pool is not heated so was really cold.
The apartment was great with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, A/C, a well furnished kitchen and even a washer (but no dryer).
There is a bar and restaurant where you can get very good food at a correct price.
Cleaning ladies were efficient and coming every day except Sunday.
We had to ask the maintenance to come a couple of times, they fixed everything quickly.
The pool is great but not heated so water was cold and I mean REALLY cold, to the point where it is almost better to go the beach because the sea is warmer. Of course this was in August aka winter in Mauritius so I would not expect the same in summer.
This is a little bit annoying if you want to be considered a luxury resort.
Also, the security guard is very prompt to come and complain about the noise when the kids were just playing and laughing in the pool not even making noise: dude, this is a pool not a church !
The gym is really nice. You have a lot of dumbells and plates, a curl bench, a smith machine, a back extension bench (!!), an abs bench, a treadmill, a bike, an elliptical trainer ... definitely everythoing you need to train and get in shape during the vacations.
Last thing: you need a car if you want to go around a bit, walking or running is really not an option (very dangerous in the area and in Mauritis in general).

Our stay at Domaine Des Alizees, managed by Aman, was outstanding. Aman's prompt communication, attention to detail, and immaculate property maintenance made our Airbnb experience truly memorable. His local recommendations added extra value to our stay, and we would highly recommend his services to anyone seeking a seamless vacation rental experience. Poor information provided about the sundowner service. While checking in info provided was 16:30 the bus will leave for the beach and the bus left at 16:00 instead.
Lights in the balcony pool never lit up.
The worst part is communication, you cannot talk in the pool and only whisper or do sign language, else a security guard will ask you to shut up.

We apologize that the presence of our security guard made you uncomfortable – you can understand that we monitor the noise levels for the comfort of our other guests. We have however taken note of your comment and will make sure that this issue is dealt with differently in future. With regards to the sundowner, our team did in fact explain the concept and the correct shuttle times. As explained, the shuttle operates at certain predetermined times and does not pick-up and drop-off guests outside these times. If you missed the shuttle, our team could have organised a taxi to our Beach Club and back. Concerning the pool lights, we never received any feedback that there was an issue. Had our team been notified, we would have addressed the issue in a timely manner. However, following your review, our team have checked the lights in penthouse 311 and they are in working order. Hotel is not even close to 5 stars. Staff is really friendly and they are trying their best to make your stay better in a average hotel. Cockroaches are everywhere in a warm country but I have never been in a hotel that has this many. Hotel needs renovation and furnitures in the room are not in the best condition. Restaurant in the hotel was closed due to concept change and no information was provided to us before our stay.

Dear Dilip M,
We currently have a Half Board Offer (that expires on the 19th December 2019), otherwise, we only operate on a B&B basis (continental breakfast served in your suite).
Our Beach Club (15 minutes away by car), 'La Plage', has a restaurant which provides vegetarian options. This is also where you will be enjoying your dinner if you book with the Half Board Offer.
