We have just returned from this resort , we stay here either side of a nile cruise and had a wonderful stay. The room was a great size with a view over the garden to the red sea. Pool is a great size and plenty of sun beds for all. Food plentiful and of a good standard, staff

I enjoyed my 12 night stay here and found all the staff helpful and efficient. All the food I ate was excellent and well cooked. The bread and bread rolls at breakfast were delicious and amongst the best I have had in my dozens of visits to Egyptian hotels ! I would have liked

The sea looks tougher than it actually is because you can see the breakers crossing the shallow reef. Even on an Amber flag the conditions are easily manageable because the current isn’t strong. There is always a lifeguard on the pier to keep an eye on you and give you advice as well. You can snorkel from the beech but you can’t cross the reef without using the pier. The water is shallow from the beech but you can still see plenty of fish octopus etc. Well worth being brave and going down the steps at the end of the pier onto the reef though. You can see what there is to see within a few metres of the steps. If you find a piece of floating seaweed to hold some of the fish will even feed from your hand.

Use the cash point at the airport or in the hotel. The Egyptians seem to prefer the Euro or even better the dollar. Mainly because it’s a harder currency and they can charge you more. $1 sounds much cheaper psychologically than £17 Egyptian when being asked to pay to use the toilets at the tourist attractions. However, if you are paying E£ the price the asked was usually E£5. See what I mean? Not much money but the higher the price the bigger the difference. My advice would be to take your debit card and use Egyptian £’s

It has a rocky beach but there is a bridge that takes you after the rocks where you can enjoy swimming and snorkelling

You can enter the sea from different beaches, or the pier over the reef. The beaches are all sandy.
